1) What is the point Greene is making in his essay about art and science?

2) Greene argues that “There are truths that stand beyond articulation, whether in the language of mathematics or that of human discourse. There are truths we can sense, truths we can feel, that would be diminished by translation from inner expression. Art is our most refined means for accessing such truths.”  If, as Greene argues, art allows us to experience the ineffable or the sublime in which understanding comes through a sensory relationship with the world, why do you think so few people visit art museums and other cultural institutions?
