this task/paper, was done and completed by a scholar in this website, when i submitted it, my professor said that there is a part that needs to be revised.

NOTE: I requested the same scholar that worked on it, so please others, do not waste ur time and bid, cuz i will only assign the writer that worked on it previously to avoid confusion.

My professor said (((((it was perfect, but he said that part C1 needs revision, therefore, parts C2, C3, D1, D2, D3 need to be revised as well, cuz they rely on C1. If C1 needs to be revised, then the rest cannot be assessed because they rely on part C1. ))))))

Therefore, I will be uploading a doc named “Professor Comment”, please read it carefully, so that you can revise whatever needs to be revised. plz make certain u do exactly as my professor comment and feedback. Anyways, I will also be providing u with a doc called “paper TASK 2”, that is basically the paper u worked on dear scholar.

After you have explored the documents (see attachments) then post a one paragraph (about five thoughtful sentences) summary of what you learned. This could be either something you found of interest, or answers to the activity questions or comments regarding the interactive map.

Be sure you have explored at least THREE of the documents. Be sure that at least one document is a written document,  the second document may be either an image or a map, and the third and fourth documents are the student’s choice.

Discuss the document’s content (What did it say), context (What is the rational for writing it), and significance.

Prompt:
Each of the stories were reading by Washington Irving can be seen as a rebuke of some of the consequences of the Enlightenment. Irving seems to value the sleepy, rural lifestyle of the Dutch descendants who populate his tales, and the industrialization, political upheaval, and focus on monetary prosperity that comes with the young United States of America is a threat to that lifestyle. Explore how Irving expresses this Romantic rebuke of America in either The Legend of Sleepy Hollow or Rip Van Winkle by choosing at least two examples of this rebuke and discussing their significance. Consider talking about Irving’s use of characterization and/or symbolism to explore the problems associated with industrialization, political upheaval, and capitalism.

Here’s an example from “Rip Van Winkle” of the kind of thing I’m looking: After he awakens, Rip finds that the large tree that used to shelter the town’s elders is replaced with a “naked pole” with a cap on top of it. The tree might represent the Romantic notion that humans should live in harmony with nature. The pole represents the progressive attitudes of the Enlightenment (specifically, political progress). The fact that the “naked pole” is presented as a replacement for a tree that provided shelter, shows that the changes that took place while Rip was sleeping were often negative ones.
