Develop an emergency management financial plan for your organization. Provide baseline information about your organization detailing the population and general budget information. Give examples or case study information about grants or historical declaration funding that supports your financial plan. If you do not work for a a government agency, research a county or local government with a population of at least 100,000 citizens.

 

Assignment 2: It May Not Work in Politics

Write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which the student addresses the following three (3) items using headers to separate each response:

  1. Congressional Ethics: Identify one (1) member of Congress who has been charged with ethics violations in the past 2 years (include the date). Briefly discuss the reason for the charges and provide two (2) reasons why you agree or disagree with the verdict and any penalties. Provide examples to support your answer. Consider how the verdict and penalties impacts your trust of the members of Congress.

In your research, you cannot use Wikipedia, online dictionaries, Sparknotes, Cliffnotes, or any other Website do that do not qualify as an academic resource.

For Interviews, students should clarify which analytical method is chosen and explain why. Hypotheses testing may not be necessary for quantitative data.

7.       Results: For qualitative results, students should report findings and include transcription in the appendices. For quantitative data, SPSS results should be demonstrated and explained. (Max. 500 words)

A hierarchical regression has been performed using paranormal belief as the dependent variable.

Schizotypy was measured using the o-life short scale and the sub-scales of UE and IN were chosen due to their relevance to paranormal belief and previous research.

The study aims to gain understanding of the effects of stress and schizotypy on paranormal belief with the hypothesis that stronger paranormal belief will be associated with individuals experiencing higher levels of perceived stress whilst being placed at the higher end of the schizotypy continuum.

In terms of speculation from the results, UE and stress are sig. positively correlated but on UE is a sig. predictor of paranormal belief. So it seems that high levels of UE can predict paranormal beliefs but how stressed you are does not have a bearing on your paranormal belief.
