? Movie of choice is Jonathan Livingston Seagull
You will be reading the Introduction and Background chapter (Chapter 1), and three more chapter selections in Positive Psychology at the Movies.
? Probably only need to read the applicable chapter regarding JLS. If I get a bid I can afford, I can provide further information from the book but hopefully you have access to it. It’s not much to read.
Then, choose one of the chapters you read, and watch a movie exemplifying the trait mentioned in the chapter.
Write a discussion and psychological analysis of the movie modeled on the Exemplar sections of Positive Psychology at the Movies.
? Will provide more somehow.
Savor the movies in detail, explain how actors or directors or cinematography (or whatever movie elements) are used to embody the virtues and psychological strengths.
? Creative descriptive vocabulary regarding scenery and emotions depicted by the seagull.
Feel free to bring into the discussion references to other movies in your life.
? (No. Just write on Jonathan Livingston Seagull.)
Then, explain how you might apply the trait to your own life, and how the movie informs choices you might make in the future.
? There’s a JLS in all of us
