IB TOK essay. REQUIRES TOK ESSAY WRITER! My essay is the fifth question form this years topics. I’m analysing this question form the point of view of the natural and human sciences (my specific example for these two fields would be biology and psychology as I studied these subjects in my IB course). The essay should follow the following structe (as per my teachers suggestion)

Introduction (75-150 words)
Re-phrase/define the key concept(s) in your own words to introduce the main knowledge question, and links to AOKs/WOKs. Sign-post the arguments you will be discussing in your essay and introduce their implications

Main body – section 1
Develop the main knowledge question presented in the title as an argument, focusing on one AOK, and other relevant TOK concepts. Provide justification for the main argument, referring to real-life and examples from your learning.

Main body – section 2
Extend the main argument further by referring to another AOK, with relevant WOKs. Provide further justification for the main concept by referring to real-life examples from this second AOK.

Main body – section 3
Introduce a counter-claim to the main argument. Highlight relevant AOK/WOKs and other TOK terms, as well as specific real-life examples.

Main body – section 4
Either extend the main counter-claim further by referring to other AOK/WOKs, or introduce and justify another counter-claim, in the context of AOK/WOKs and real-life examples.

Main body – section 5
Discuss further the limitations and merits of each argument and counter-claim. Refer to implications in other areas and examples

Conclusion (200-300 words)
Summarise what you have said and re-state the main knowledge question and this affects your attainment of knowledge. End with a forward-looking view, referring for example to why you could not answer the question, or to what you would need to know to answer the question

Citations should be made in regards to examples made such as biological theories or psychological studies.

The assignment is to submit a business report in response to the scenario below. Although based on Porsche there is no need for you to contact anybody within the organisation as you are applying what you have learnt on the module to this organisation. An in depth knowledge of Porsche is not necessary, so don’t waste too many words describing in detail what they do. You must, however, take into account the current business environment and the general nature of what they do/their industry.

The scenario

Porsche is a multibillion euro organisation that employs approximately 25,000 employees in a variety of locations, who carry out many different roles including engineers, production operatives and managers (Porsche, 2015).

As part of your Business and Management degree you are completing an internship at Porsche. You are working in the HR department based in Porsche’s UK site in London. You report to Janine, the HR Manager for Porsche UK.
As part of the induction period of your internship you have to complete a number of reports, presentations and small projects.

As part of your induction I’d like you to write a report for me so that I can hear your ideas on resourcing and talent planning. I’m specifically interested in your recommendations for Porsche, and I would like to use some of your suggestions in our next biannual Resourcing and Talent Review. The topic as stated should only up to date.

Which means that the references and sources should be also up to date as possible. Examine current cases seen from the point of view of security and strategy and combine some legal elements that may justify your research.

The format of the Paper will be examined on the following.

1. Analyze international law and security relations.
2. implement law and rules on international security.
3. understanding the role of military force in global affairs.
2. Structure your methodological approach based on current events.
3. Analysis Case analysis after a brief only arhival historical background.
4. Think that you are the advisor. And you have to report on a project through a current analysis on a running case within 2016.

It may be all cases of international security and or safety. It has to be international case. Not national and not local case.

Important Note… only current cases within 2016, should be considered. Not past case. This means evidence should be as recent as possible. Use also the UN Charter when and where applicable or other legal sources to examine the case.

Structure that we are currently learning is clear.

It needs to include a standard format and style of paper.

Introduction: Statement/questions to be raised/introducing the subject.
Main: what is analyzed how is described. What is the correlation to the matter and the subject.
Answer the why when where with what elements, positioning and clearly describing and defining.

The case study should be as updated as possible. They should be properly sourced and referenced at all times.

AIMS AND RESEARCH QUESTIONS
My main aim is to find out the current position of hard materials at innovative textiles industry. Use of wood in textiles ,artist who are using this material,what techniques they are using and what they are dedicated for? What people think about them at interior environment?
What are advantages and disadvantages?
What they combine with wood to get a good quality fabric?
Are they more practical then traditional form?
How looks sustainable side of production those textiles?

RATIONALE:
Last year I based my final major project on up cycled wood and metal as a form of ‘textiles’. That gave me a lot to think about traditional fabrics and new materials. I have been question myself: what is a fabric? Which material can we use as a fabric and which do not? I find out that fabric can be anything,depends only how we use it. Does not has to be transformed into a thread or yearn to create fabric. This year I want to find out practical side in this aspect and what can be the future. Traditional fabrics at domestic environment get dirty very quickly and they duration is limited. New designer should consider others forms which last longer and are more functional. Wood is well known as a hard and solid source for building constructions and furnitures. In textiles industry wood was known as a tool for stamp printing or part of machines. In our days new designers often using a traditional sources in a new way for textiles like Elisa Strozyk. She is working with thin pices of wood on textiles creating cloth.
