Effective communication is a staple of our healthcare culture.  Working with patients, peers, and interprofessional teams requires that nurses manage information and evidence toward influencing safe and positive patient outcomes.

 

Please address the following:

 

Describe caring attributes of the culture where you currently practice. Which attributes stand out as having significant influence on patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals?

 

How do you see effective communication relating to patient outcomes in this setting? What is the evidence for this?

In a 3-page paper, written in APA format using proper spelling/grammar, research the topic of learning disabilities of American children and address the following:

 

1. When is a child’s communication considered delayed? Please include stages of development regarding communication with examples.
2. What are speech disorders and how are they characterized?
3. What are language disorders? How does they affect language development and education?
4. How does a speech language pathologist help children with communication disorders? Explain with specific techniques and examples.

Professional nurses rely on research findings to inform practice decisions; they use critical thinking to apply research directly to specific patient care situations.

 

Think about an independent nursing practice problem you care passionately about and would be interested in searching for evidence. The below problems should not be used:

 

*medical/doctor/physician problems such as medications, or medications administration or effects, diagnostics such as EKGs, labs, cardiac catherizations.

 

*staffing, nurse-to-patient ratios, workforce issues are organizational/system /political/administrative/multi-stakeholder problems which nursing cannot solve independently.

 

Describe a significant nursing clinical issue, topic of interest, or practice problem that is important to you. Describe why you chose the problem/topic.

 

Write your clinical question in the PICO(T) format for your nursing practice problem. *To write your clinical question in the PICO(T) format, use the NR439_Guide for writing PICOT Questions and Examples found in your required reading or access the following link: ****see attached***

 

List each of your PICOT elements.

 

Share why you care about this nursing practice problem and why you believe the problem would benefit from finding the best evidence.

Write a six to seven (6-7) page paper in which you: 

 

1. Analyze different types of strategies (cost leadership, differentiation, and focus/niche) and select which one you would deem more appropriate for an “efficiency-minded” retail organization and explain your rationale. How would the selected strategy ultimately affect how HR does its job? 
2. Examine the four (4) approaches to job design/redesign and provide an example (not a definition) of each.      Then, make a case to the interviewing panel on the importance of effective job design applications in supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. 
3. Consider challenges and constraints associated with recruiting workers and identify and discuss at least two (2) issues. What advice would you give to ease your selected issues? Be specific.  
4. List and describe 2–3 candidate selection process ideas that might add value and overall effectiveness to the process.    

Provide the answers in your own words to the following questions. Answers should be thorough and at least 100 words or more. 

 

1. What decision must be made when assessing threat problems?

2. Explain two ways to change designs.

3. Explain Standard Mitigation Technology.
 

4. Why is Fuzzing not considered a form of mitigating threats?

5. What is the meaning of FAIR and explain the role played against threats.

6. Can we see where all the data goes and who uses it?

Compare two advertisement that you believe uses sex, race, gender, family roles, nationality, or class (alone or in combination). Detail the presentation of sex, race, gender, family roles, nationality, and/or class in the ads. For example, how are women/men presented? How is race/ethnicity/class depicted? Ultimately, what kind of messages about social groups are being sold to us alongside products?

 

Compose a 1 and a half to 2 page essay (double-spaced, 12 point font, 1 inch margins), include a works cited page, please include the ads or links to the ads (if possible).

 

Also, be sure to reference at least one course reading in your essay.
