Description

I need a domestic (US) business plan for starting a Limited Liability Corporation in Hollywood California. It should be called Burts Burrito Truck and it is a traveling food service. The instructions below lay out everything that needs to be in the paper. It is taken directly from the assignment instructions so there might be some dead links in there but they do not really matter.

Option #1: Domestic Business Plan
As an entrepreneur, you want to start a business. You know that the first step is to consider drafting a business plan to organize all of your ideas. For this assignment, you will be submitting a business plan for your imaginary business. For research purposes, you can choose any state for the location of your business. Your business plan should include the following:

Introduction of the proposed business/executive summary
The executive summary is often considered the most important section of a business plan. This section briefly tells your reader where your company is, where you want to take it, and why your business idea will be successful. If you are seeking financing, the executive summary is also your first opportunity to attract a potential investor’s interest.
The executive summary should highlight the strengths of your overall plan and therefore be the last section you write. However, it appears first in your business plan.
Identify and describe the type of business entity that is best for your business.
Examples may include: partnership, limited liability company, corporation, etc. (For purposes of this assignment, you should NOT choose a sole proprietorship for your business entity.)
Defend your choice of business entity (this may include advantages/disadvantages of the selected type of business entity based on your business concept).
Describe the specific legal steps needed to be followed to successfully start the business.
Note: Steps will vary, depending on the type of business you choose and state you are located in.
Good sources of research for this area include the following:
Textbooks
Information on the business formation process can be found at: http://smallbusiness.findlaw.com/incorporation-and-legal-structures/business-formation-quickstart.html (Links to an external site.). The Small Business Administration website will be helpful; it includes information on how to start a small business.
Recommend and describe an appropriate written agreement for the particular type of entity chosen.
Examples: Articles of incorporation, articles of organization, partnership agreement, etc.
A draft of a valid contract with a vendor, supplier, customer, etc. that illustrates all elements of a contract and takes into consideration some of the topics discussed in Modules 6 and 7
Explain potential ethical considerations for your business, including any social responsibility plans or attitudes that your business will embrace.
Describe a possible disagreement that could be encountered among the partners or investors and shareholders. Recommend potential resolutions (referring back to the formal documents, such as the articles of incorporation or the partnership agreement).
Examples could include the introduction of a new product line, borrowing money for expansion, an advertising campaign, etc.
Determine how the business would be terminated if the disagreement between the board of directors, shareholders, or partners could not be resolved.
Your well-written plan should be 8-10 pages in length, not including the title or references pages. Headings and subheadings may help you organize your work. Include at least four academic or other legitimate sources to support your findings, not including your textbook. The MGT315 Business Law Library Guide (Links to an external site.) can help you with finding quality resources

You will start your presentation with your introductory talk to the parents on these factors. After you provide your explanation, imagine that you open the meeting to questions. You will address the question noted below that is posed by a parent in the audience. Consider your audience, and practice explaining in terms a non-professional might understand.

Review the questions (in the Assignment instructions below) ahead of time and plan your answer before recording, as you will need to look up and integrate materials to answer the chosen question.

Assignment

Submit a 1 page paper addressing the parents as your audience, in which you do the following:

· Briefly describe what the DSM-5 is and how it is organized. In your description, define the concepts of spectrum and dimensionality as explained by Paris and in the DSM-5 introduction.

· Explain why social workers and mental health professionals use diagnoses and what receiving a diagnosis means (and does not mean).

· Explain general concerns about the risks of overdiagnosis and misdiagnosis versus not diagnosing. Also explain how diagnosis is connected to services.

· Explain other details that might help your audience understand the strengths and weaknesses of the diagnostic system.

Address the Parent question at the end of the paper

Provide a response to the following parental questions:

o My teenager’s best friend died by suicide this year. It’s been months, and she doesn’t seem over it. Her teachers tell me she should get help for depression, but I think it’s just grief. She talks about her friend all the time and gets very upset. I am worried about her. Is it normal for her to still be feeling this way? I don’t want to put her on medication for normal feelings. What is the difference between grief and depression?

Take a moment to reflect on the alternative religions we learned about this week. Such as alternative religions and women roles in religion. Respond to the following questions:

What do you think are some primary reasons these religions emerged?

What are some of the commonalities in their popularity or characteristics?

Finally, consider the role of women in at least two of the religious traditions you have learned about during this class. Discuss and provide examples of how the role of women in those two religious traditions has changed over time.

BUSI 320 Comprehensive Problem 2 FALL 2019

You have been asked to assess the expected financial impact of each of the following proposals to improve the profitability of credit sales made by your company. Each proposal is independent of the other. Answer all questions. Showing your work may earn you partial credit.

Proposal #1 would extend trade credit to some customers that previously have been denied credit because they were considered poor risks. Sales are projected to increase by $200,000 per year if credit is extended to these new customers. Of the new accounts receivable generated, 7% are projected to be uncollectible. Additional collection costs are projected to be 3% of incremental sales (whether they actually end up collected or not), and production and selling costs are projected to be 80% of sales. Your firm expects to pay a total of 30% of its income after expenses in taxes.

1) Compute the incremental income after taxes that would result from these projections:

2) Compute the incremental Return on Sales if these new credit customers are accepted:

If the receivable turnover ratio is expected to be 4 to 1 and no other asset buildup is needed to serve the new customers…

3) Compute the additional investment in Accounts Receivable

4) Compute the incremental Return on New Investment

5) If your company requires a 20% Rate of Return on Investment for all proposals, do the numbers suggest that trade credit should be extended to these new customers? Explain.

Proposal #2 would establish local collection centers throughout the region to decrease the time it takes to convert credit payments that are mailed in by check to cash. It is estimated that establishing these collection centers would reduce the average collection time by 2 days.

1) If the company currently averages $60,000 in collections per day, how many dollars will this suggested cash management system free up?

2) If all freed up dollars would be used to pay down debt that has an interest rate of 5%, how much money could be saved each year in interest expense?

3) Do the numbers suggest that this new system should be implemented if its total annual cost is $5200? Explain.

Questions 1:

Over the course of this semester, you will be asked to write a research paper about an ERM topic of your choice. The research paper development will consist of: (a) research paper topic (defining the topic of your research/why research is needed on the topic), (b) annotated bibliography (finding literature about the topic), (c) draft research paper (producing a draft paper based on the research topic/lit. review) and (d) final research paper (improving on the draft and writing a final paper). This week you will submit the research paper topic, please use the template provided.

The research topic paper should present a general research topic about ERM, narrow the topic down to a specific topics (subtopics) and then frame/explore an issue related to the specific topic. You should present and develop an argument concerning the issue.

Submit a 800 (minimum) word paper (about 3 pages) in which you provide a discussion on a ERM topic of your choice.

Assignment Requirements:

Submitted work is to be proofread carefully and should not exhibit mechanical errors, such as spelling mistakes. Grammar should be checked for accuracy prior to submission. Recently, I have purchased the book “Revenue Management and Pricing Analytics” written by Guillermo Gallego and Huseyin Topaloglu.

I have a question about the use of marginal analysis mentioned on page 6.

By using marginal analysis, it compares the anticipated marginal revenue of full fare to the expected marginal revenue of discounted fare. And it uses this comparison to indicate whether a company should accept the request for discounted fare or reject it.

However, I have found this deduction a little jump, because the statement in the book implicitly assumes that the y units of capacity available to full fare can vary. That is to say, for each possible value of y, from 0 to c, we compare the anticipated marginal revenue of full fare to the expected marginal revenue of discounted fare. So, can you make this implicit assumption explicit?

Also, can you justify the use of marginal analysis, if the value of y is fixed? That is, when the value of y is fixed, can you justify that the marginal analysis is an appropriate method to derive an indicator or a criteria that can determine whether to accept or reject the request for discounted fare? When the value of y is fixed, the marginal analysis only considers the yth revenue. But how about the (y-1)th, the (y-2)th, the (y-n)th revenue?

Thanks!
