Why can Prada sell a handbag for $2,000 that costs the firm a little more to manufacture than the $200 bag sold at a department store? At the other end of the pricing spectrum, why would a consumer goods company provide a coupon that makes their new snack

You want HOW much for that bag?Why can Prada sell a handbag for $2,000 that costs the firm a little more to manufacture than the $200 bag sold at a department store? At the other end of the pricing spectrum, why would a consumer goods company provide a coupon that makes their new snack product all but free? We learned in the Elder Care scenario that there are a number of pricing strategies firms can use to achieve their marketing objectives. Do they want to build market share, create a perception of exclusivity, or simply get you to try those new cookies?Consider the product you are using for your marketing plan (Mobile Grocery Store). How would you price it to achieve your objectives? Describe the pricing strategy you would use to introduce your product to the market, and why you selected that strategy over other options. Be very precise – you must use the correct terminology to receive ANY points.Your analysis must include:If your choice a long-term or short-term strategy? What advantages or disadvantages do you foresee?

Suppose that sales are not meeting your objectives, what change might you make in your pricing?Be sure to complete the Elder Care scenario and the exercises before you attempt to post. Posting is not available until you have completed the scenario. As always, college level writing is expected and your post should be a minimum of 300 words.By the way, that $2000 Prada bag may seem like lot of money for a simple handbag, but it is not even close to top of the pyramid. For that, check out the Tanaka designed bag sold by Hermes for a staggering $1.9 million. Why not order two?

The types of measurementdesign and validity are very important concepts. When formulating and completing experimentation, taking certain factors into consideration is very important. When designing experimentation on a topic of interest, it will be important to align the proper tools to the topic. To help prepare for this, submit a post with the following points:

  • Summarize the purpose and differences between the four statistical scales of measurement.
  • Compare and contrast the four major research designs.
  • List the different types of validity and explain their importance (make sure to interact with other student comments on this point).

Prompt

The principles of operant conditioning can be adapted to manage one’s own behavior. These concepts can help one increase desired behaviors and/or decrease unwanted behaviors.

Project Instructions – Final Submission = 800-1,000 words (2 1/2 -3 pages of written work) (body) – excluding title and reference pages

  1. Read the Psychology in Action segment titled “Behavioral Self-Management – A Rewarding Project” on pages 247 and 248 of the textbook.
  2. Develop a personal behavioral self-management plan. The following stages should help:
    1. Choose a target behavior: Identify the activity you want to change.
    2. Establish a baseline: Determine how much time you currently spend performing the target activity or count the number of desired or undesired responses you make each day. Hint: Baseline data should be collected and recorded during week one of the course – it will help you tremendously (no need to turn this part in)
    3. Establish Goals: Remember the principle of shaping and set realistic goals for gradual improvement on each successive week. Also, set daily goals that add up to the weekly goals.
    4. Choose reinforcers: Choose a reward you will allow yourself if you meet your daily goal. Choose a reward you will allow yourself if you meet your weekly goal.
    5. Record your progress: keep accurate records of the amount of time spent each day on the desired activity or the number of times you make the desired response. Progress data should be collected and recorded during weeks two and three of the course (no need to turn this part in)
    6. Reward successes: If you meet your daily goal, collect your reward. If you fall short, be honest with yourself and skip the reward. Do the same for the weekly goal.
    7. Adjust your plan as you learn more about your behavior. After reviewing your progress data during week two, adjust your plan if necessary and continue collecting progress data during week three of the course using the revised plan.
  3. If your plan is to decrease a “bad” habit indicate which of the four strategies you are using to assist you: 1) alternate responses, extinction, response chains, or cues and antecedents.
  4. Write three (3) pages answering the questions below. – This is the submission.
    1. What target behavior did you try to modify? Why did you select this behavior?
    2. How and why did you chose the daily and weekly goals?
    3. How and why did you choose the daily and weekly reinforcers? What is it about these activities or rewards that you find reinforcing?
    4. Did your self-management plan work? Did you change the target behavior? If you did, why do you think your plan was successful? If you did not, why do you think your plan was not successful?
    5. How might you modify your plan to make it successful or more successful?
    6. What is your overall reaction to this project? Will you use these concepts in the future? Why or why not?
  5. Papers should be in IWG format. A Template and information on IWG requirements can be found under Course Media.
    1. The paper should have one inch margins and be double spaced.
    2. Use 12 point Times New Roman font.
    3. Write in the first person.
    4. Utilize, cite and reference the textbook and two (2) other research sources in your paper.

1.  APA style

2. TWO PAGE equivalent and double-spaced

A gender gap between male and female leadership in working environment leads to one of the controversial topics garnering lot of attention from across industries.

Some people still hold onto a traditional viewpoint that men are born to be leaders and women suppose to behave like subordinates who merely support their effective functioning and they in instance should take over men’s authority. Male and female do share the same starting point towards pursuing a career.(Stott, Rob. 2013)

For example in my work environment men bosses are not always better than women, and the gender gaps shouldn’t be the predetermining factor to value someone’s worth,  efficiency and contribution at work.

There is many other performance indicators the gender divide that predominantly continues t persist even in these technologically advanced times.

For example: Women are commonly skilled at multitasking and managing the household fronts to include children. A female boss can prioritize issues and manage situations at work with the same dedication as at home and looks into many other things.

In my current work environment if we look into male and female supervisor situations, I will prefer male who works more than the women and puts logic into most of the situations where male are good listeners and effective communicators to help resolve employees personal concerns with understanding and empathy. They notice smart workers and reward them accordingly, contribute more effectively to their organizations (Eagly & Carli, 2007).

Women supervisor also do the same but the making skills and attitudes towards colleagues and subordinates at work, however women tend to some hormonal problems to reflect their mood and behavior at work. Actually both men and women have equally hormonal challenges that sometimes impact their decision making skills.

Women face great hurdles to climb up the career ladders and they may pull other competitive women down to retain the top most secured position in a job.

At the negotiation the question has important implications are especially negotiated over a large examines the idea of gender within the previous to research to explain why and when gender matters in negotiation. Seemingly every few months a major media search to illustrate ways gender is likely to have a strong impact on the negotiation outcomes and evidence has accumulated to illustrate the ways gender impacts negotiations (Kray, 2007 , Galinsky,& Thompson, 2002).

Negotiations research typically gathers data by sex and even two decades this was most frequently tested individually difference in negotiation research, as a result of this focus on generated explanations, research suggest the term gender that can be used in negotiation( Kray & Babcock, 2006).

One particular important empirical advance in recognition of the both gender and context must show some individual papers in bargaining the significant gender differences. In negotiations these negative effects are most often reflected in women’s poorer economic outcomes.

For example a recent study of lawyers suggests women negotiation are viewed similarly to their male counterparts it may be that at least when lawyers participate in negotiations, the role of  gender roles that this effect may not generalize  from specific negotiations to more general aspects of being a female lawyer.

More often which in less carefully controlled environments, includes the negotiation performance of the carefully controlled environments including the real world, whereas the situation in the contrast whom did the worst and path of the identifier of the multiple traits and it is the possible traits for the negotiation performance of the multiple traits which considers the most valued of the of Course negotiators do not act actually the counterparts traits for the negotiation in which negative response to behaving women research penalize them(Bowles & Gelfand, 2010).

There are also clear normative behaviors expected of these women based on their occupational role. There are also clear and normative response for the high concern and efforts. They anticipate the lower assertiveness of the competing tactics.

#Texas senate district 9-

Senate Kelly Hancock – navigate https://senate.texas.gov/member.php?d=9

Answer each section in 200 words.

1) Explore your state senator’s substantive representation (i.e. their values and positions on issues)

a. Using the ideology information from the TribTalk page (navigate to https://www.tribtalk.org/2019/06/12/the-2019-texas-senate-from-left-to-right/ ) , compare your personal ideology to your state senator’s (4 pts). According to the ideology score chart, how conservative/liberal is your representative? (You can measure this by how far right or left they are from center and by comparing them to other state senators.) How does this compare/contrast with your ideology? Are you more liberal/conservative? Do you lean toward their party?

b. Using either your state senator’s bio page, personal website, or campaign website, identify your state senator’s position on a key issue (4 pts). What type of issue is it (social or fiscal) and does your senator take a liberal or conservative position (be sure to explain why)? What is your position? In your opinion, what should be done about this issue? Do you agree or disagree with your senator (and why)?

2) Now that you have an issue position, you should think about how to put it into action.

a. Who in the government OR community should be involved? What specific actions can you (and others) take? Why is it important to get people involved in this cause and what will be the benefits of this action? (3 pts.)

3) Let’s assume that you are successful in your efforts, and you achieve your policy goal. Now it is time to assess the impact of this potential change. [PR3]

a. What do you believe will be the consequences of putting this policy into practice? (4 pts.) How would this improve your community, state, and country? What do you think will be the short-term effects (within the next year or two)? How about the long-term impacts (beyond 2 years)? Finally, what are some negative unintended consequences that might result from this course of action?

There are some important questions to bear in mind as we read Faust 1.

Careful reflection upon them will help you. They will focus your thinking on the second paper due for this course.Together with the paper you have already written for Module 4 this second paper will give you ample knowledge about both of the major figures we are studying this semester.

You need to write about whether Don Juan or Faust is the most ignominious persona in the two plays being read for this course. Don Juan is one dimensional. And yet he is empty and shallow? Faust is often unfathomable. He is brilliant but fragile somehow beneath the surface? Both deign to love. Both are no strangers to Death.  Compare them in a paper 2000 words in length. (Be sure to cite any sources you use to argue your case.)

1. Was Dr. Faust actually an all knowing bore until the devil stepped in and had him obsess over the fairer sex?

2. Is the Devil almost totally evil and yet quite wise to some of the shortcomings of women and men as well?

3. Does a deep love transform Dr. Faust into something much more than an imitation Don Juan? (He would have his love put her mother to sleep so they can be together? He kills another man in a duel too? And yet, he becomes totally smitten?)

4. And Why is there such a lasting appeal to this story? Please cite examples from Faust to buttress your arguments.

5. Could Faust compete with television shows such as The Vampire Diaries or The Walking Dead?

6. Would Faust form the basis for a horror movie? Why or why not?

Discussion Question:

Newman pointed out that, “nurse client relationships often begin during periods of disruption, uncertainty, and unpredictability in patient’s lives” (Smith & Parker, 2015, p. 288).

Explore what she means by this statement. Then, reflect on a patient that you cared for that you could apply her theory to. Provide details of the interaction and outcomes.

Your initial posting should be at least 400 words in length and utilize at least one scholarly source other than the textbook.
