 Muslims in the Golden Age is the theme for the research project. You are required to prepare a minimum of 25-minute presentation on the life, work, and contributions of a Muslim scholar, scientist, poet, artist, etc. from the Golden Age of Islam (not contemporary scholars). You can choose any form of media for your presentation paper. A narrated paper has been the common form used in the past; however, the addition of voice-over is required. This project should be completed individually. The objective of this project is to explore the Muslims’ contributions to the modern civilization.

Here is the information that is needed about Mark******Mark is a 43-year-old white male that comes from a two-parent suburban family home. Mark father Stewart is a non-drinker however Mark mother suffer from alcohol addiction so much, so she had to seek treatment for her alcoholism. Growing up Mark was very outspoken and argumentative. Many people considered Mark rebellious. At the age of 17 years old mark began to smoke marijuana and drinking alcohol. Due to the His disrespect while living in his parents home Mark got into trouble for growing  marijuana he was also charged with a felony that was his first run in with the law however it wouldn’t be his last. Mark moved on to using cocaine once that didn’t get him high anymore, he moved on to smoking Meth. Due to depression and drug addictions Mark also suffer from multiple mental health issues. Mark became unemployed due to his drug usage he had become homeless for three years. Mark have lost all his teeth due to drug use, have bad liver, hair thinning and bad skin acne.

• How have you changed as a writer over the course of the semester?
• In what ways have you improved?
• In what ways do you still need to improve?
• How can you describe your writing process?  Has this changed over the course of the semester?
• How can you describe your writing style?  Has this changed over the course of the semester?
• Do you think any differently about writing now in comparison to the beginning of the semester?  If so, how?
• What are your goals with writing in the future?

The self-reflection essay must be an essay, not a disorganized response to a list of questions. As such, it must have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. It should also be organized logically and have adequate transitions from one idea to the next.
