This windshield survey is a tool used by public health nurses to obtain basic knowledge about a given community. This survey can be conducted by traveling by car, walking, or taking public transportation to gather information on the health of a community and the members of that community. When conducting this survey, make sure to include all community participants, schools, police, fire, hospitals, clinics, etc. Also, please make sure to share your completed presentation with an identified entity in the surveyed community who might be interested in your findings.

The Comprehensive Health History

  1. Please select a volunteer friend or family member to interview and gather data to complete this Assignment. You will videotape yourself interviewing this person.
  2. This section of the SOAP note will include the chief complaint, history of present illness, and family/social/personal history data.

    1. The guide will assist you in gathering subjective data in an organized, systematic manner to prevent omission of important components of the health history.

 Instructions

For this assignment, write an essay about personal and social development in childhood and adolescence related to diverse populations in educational settings. You must review and include at least two peer-reviewed articles that are current (within the last 5 years) to demonstrate current research and thinking in the field of educational psychology.

Be sure to include the following points in your essay:

  • What hereditary and environmental factors are likely to contribute to your student’s distinctive personalities during personal and social development?
  • How will your students’ beliefs about themselves affect their classroom behavior and academic achievement?
  • How do peer relationships change with age?
  • What ways might students act (i.e., behaviors demonstrated) that will benefit others and themselves during personal and social development?

Length: 5-7 pages, not including the title and reference pages

You are the general manager of a regional chemical company. In the course of producing your bulk chemicals, large amounts of particles and smoke are emitted through your plant’s smokestack. 

 

· The level of pollutants is below current EPA regulations, and you are violating no laws,
