Introduction:

Medicare and Medicaid are federal programs that cover a large proportion of the US population with healthcare. The two have similar objectives in the area of providing care, but there are significant differences in them that concern reimbursement.

Tasks:

• Describe each program, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Provide the major features of each program.
• Discuss how these programs differ from each other.
• Briefly describe the process of how to bill for each program.

There have been more than a few newsworthy failures to succeed relating to the implementation of enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) that resulted in lawsuits between companies and contracted solution providers. Large-scale roll-outs of ERP systems are notoriously difficult to pull off seamlessly and are fraught with cost overruns. Inadequate training, employee groups’ buy-in or failure to embrace change to a utilization of the new technology, poorly designed or incompatible software with legacy systems, and other factors are often stated to be the source of the difficult transitions when implementing ERP systems.

Discuss

For this assignment, conduct research on the topic of ERP systems.

If you were the CIO of a large enterprise and the implementation of an ERP system was going badly, where would you begin to try to determine what was causing the difficulties that are being encountered in the project? For example, would you bring in an outside consultant or rely on in-house talent to track down the causes that resulted in the less-than-optimal outcomes? Why would you choose one resource over the other?

Group Project Presentation on Nursing Theorist

Your group presentation on the selected nursing theorist is due this week and has two parts. By the due date assigned, collaborate with your group members and collate the project-related work that you have done from Weeks 1–4, and submit your group project in the prescribed format as noted below.

Your Project Deliverables include the following:

1. Packet of MaterialsA packet of materials should be posted to the Discussion Area for peer critique and submitted to the Submissions Area. The packet should include a detailed outline of the PowerPoint presentation and a one-page summary of each of five relevant articles on or about the theory and at the top of the page should have the complete reference in APA format. It should also include any handouts, such as charts, diagrams, or definitions, which will facilitate understanding of the PowerPoint presentation and the theory itself.
2. PowerPoint PresentationYour PowerPoint presentation should be uploaded to the appropriate Discussion Area section of for this week. Your presentation should have:
   • A brief overview of the theorist’s background.
   • Discussion of the theorist’s view of the four basic concepts of the nursing metaparadigm and two other concepts unique to the theory
   • The basic theoretical assertions or propositions.
   • An analysis and a critique of the model with a focus on elaboration of the theory’s implications for nursing practice, nursing education, and nursing research.

By the end of the week, evaluate at least two peer group presentations making use of the criteria provided in the Peer Presentation Review Checklist Template

You, as a HR Generalist, have been asked by your HR Director for your recommendations in terms of what tools your organization could use to better manage the talents of your employees. This will help to develop policies and procedures in managing your human capital. In our work and personal lives, we need to be able to identify and analyze effective verbal and nonverbal communication in various situations. In the same way that you would analyze a work or personal life communication situation, you will be asked to create a short presentation (using media choices below) about the nonverbal communication demonstrated in a series of photographs. In addition to identifying aspects of nonverbal communication, you will also need to show how these elements can affect communication both positive and negatively. Include your observations of how nonverbal elements that you see alter the direction of communication.

1. Select four of included photographs.
2. Using either PowerPoint or Prezi, create a presentation that demonstrates your comprehension regarding these communication elements: Please include the following:
   1. A title slide including your name.
   2. Four slides that explain aspects of the nonverbal communication that you see depicted in the photographs. Be sure to include the photograph on the slide. Can you find an external organization capable of developing and implementing a leadership development program that can meet the needs of your organization? 

Given the two choices as a senior HR professional, I believe that there are other external network organizations capable of developing and implementing a leadership development program.  However, having had the opportunity of overseeing a vigorous gaming culture that has surpassed our organization’s expectations, it wouldn’t be an option to search outside our organization. The rare quality of scientists, software developers and information teaching professionals our organization possesses is unusual yet unique.  Utilizing our internal staff’s full potential by developing a program that meets the needs of your organization is vital to the morale of employees. Such as; analyze the training need, design the overall training program, and develop the course (actually assembling/creating the training materials) (Dessler, 2017).

What challenges would you face in developing and implementing a leadership development program that can meet the needs of your organization? The challenges would be that although the organization has the talent to develop and implement a leadership program to meet our organization’s needs, not all twenty first and second-line supervisors are confident only two. Training is important. If even high-potential employees don’t know what to do and how to do it, they will improvise or do nothing useful at all (Dessler, 2047).Therefore, getting together with your leaders and allowing them to express their thoughts and concerns as to why they don’t feel qualified to do the job they were initially hired for.  Compiling this data with your HR team and analyzing the best strategy to achieve a new leadership development program for the organization.  

What alternative approaches might you consider to address your organization’s leadership challenge? I would consider our highly qualified internal candidates first among our scientists, programmers, and designers. I believe within an organization management development programs should reflect the firm’s strategic plans. For example, strategies to enter new businesses or expand overseas imply that the employer will need succession plans in place to obtain and/or develop managers who have the skills to manage. Therefore, management development programs like the succession plan can impart the knowledge, attitudes, and skills these managers will need to excel at their jobs (Dessler, 20017).
