Short paper: “Are You Amundsen or Scott?”

Review the story of the “Race to the South Pole” by Roald Amundsen and Robert Falcon Scott, on pages 14–17 of the Great by Choice text.

Write a two- to three-page paper in APA format to answer the question “Are you Amundsen or Scott?” In the paper, you should provide an outline of what you believe to be your strengths and opportunities for personal development in decision making, based on the three core skill areas outlined in the text:

Fanatic Discipline
Empirical Creativity
Productive Paranoia

Provide a self-evaluation of your decision-making style and outline any similarities between your decision-making approach and that of Amundsen and Scott. Be prepared to discuss your paper in class.
