1. Week 3: This week your preference list is due for your Sustainability in Organizations/ Civic Engagement term project. This is the first step in preparing for your term project.
For students choosing Sustainability in Organizations, please use this link to the right of the screen to submit your preference list (see the Sustainability in Organizations module to review if needed). Identify three potential organizations from SOC381_OrganizationList-2.docxPreview the documentView in a new window (or submit one of your own). I will do my best to give you one of your top choices yet I cannot promise anything. Also to remind you, I will allow up to two students to work on the same organization yet I expect each student to do their own work. I will give precedence to those that turn them in first based on the time stamp.
For students choosing the Civic Engagement project, please make a preference list if three organizations you have found in your community that you would like to work with. You will submit this list through the same link referred to above, the link on the right hand side of the screen.
2. Week 5: Please submit your list of social sustainability indicators you think may be useful for examining your organization by 11:59 pm on Friday. The list should be drawn from course material throughout the course, but in particular, the readings and web links for this week. Briefly explain why you have included the items on your list. This assignment will be approximately 1 page long.
