Jazz in American Culture Term Paper – Vulfpeck.
I want my paper to be about Vulfpeck, a “funk” band that, I feel, can be considered a jazz band. I want the paper to address how Vulfpeck’s contribution to jazz in American culture is changing the genre and how their music is taking the jazz genre in a new direction, bringing the style into a more popular light. One could argue that Vulfpeck belongs in an entirely different canon, but I would argue that jazz is evolving in modern times to include bands like Vulfpeck.
At least ONE(1) of the sources should be a RECORDING or VIDEO!!
