I am applying to the Ph.D. in African American Studies at UC Berkeley.
Some Key point about me:

I grew up in the inner city of Washington D.C , single parent home . in a drug infested community.

I completed my B.A.. In Political Science : Magna Cum Laude

I lived in Guangzhou China, taught English and studied Mandarin Chinese
It iwas in Guangzhou, that I integrated into the African migrant community

I will graduate with my M.A. in International Affairs
I am interested in China -Africa relations, and issues related to Africans living in China, and how African-American political leaders drew inspiration from China’s Communist Revolution

other areas: Pan-Africanism, Asian-African solidarity,

I really want to be a professor/educator. That is my dream and professional goal
