  1. Discuss how Richard should strengthen the relationship with his supervisor, Jean.
  2. Discuss what Richard could have done differently to begin that relationship.

Using your fictitious company from the assignment in Unit I, create a PowerPoint presentation of no less than 10 slides (not counting the title slide or references slide) with speaker notes to address the numbered topics below. Note: This briefing leads to the final presentation in Unit VII.

Be sure to include a title slide and a reference slide that lists references in APA format. You may use the information in your textbook, and include at least one peer-reviewed source from the CSU Online Library.

For this assignment, you will again be writing about the fictitious company that you created in Unit I. In a minimum of two pages, discuss the following items that address the human resource (HR) implications for your company as it goes international as well as your role in HR in this growth. These will also help you to prepare for your PowerPoint briefing to the CEO that will be submitted in Unit VII:

Suppose you were recently promoted to a supervisory job in a company where you have worked for two years. You genuinely like almost all your co-workers, who now report to you. The only exception is one employee, who dresses more formally than the others and frequently tells jokes that embarrass you and the other workers. Given your preexisting feelings for the employees, how can you measure their performance fairly and effectively?
