Select a multinational organization and critically examine the overall corporate behavior through using a silent and shadow account ( Dey, 2007). Information is derived from the company (website, annual reports, etc ) to construct a ‘ silent account’ of company conduct and in particular, its disposition towards CSR. Secondly, this ‘silent account’ is contrasted with information derived from public sources (newspapers, non-governmental organizations etc ), which forms a ‘shadow account’.
In particular, you are to explore, discuss and critically evaluate the CSR issues specific to the multinational organization using a wide range of sources ( Adams and Laing, 2000 ) which encompass information from the company and from alternative sources. It is expected that you will display a summary of these information sources in a table, which are pulled together to represent a Silent side and Shadow side. Follow this with discussion of the differences and or similarities between both sets of information, drawing upon lecture materials as theoretical underpinning. Overall, your discussions should provide a useful assessment of the nature, extent and dynamics of CSR in your chosen company.Click Here To Get More On This Paper!!!!
