We have all heard the claim that “the customer is always right.” Well, maybe we should pause for a minute. Is the customer always right? Decide whether or not the customer is always right, and explain your rationale. Also, share an example of great customer service that you received directly or at least witnessed.

CLASSMATE’S POST
No, the customer is not always right, but we always want to make the customer happy. Often, in business there are misunderstandings, the customer often doesn’t understand the rules, regulations, and policies that go with running the business the way it is running. The customer doesn’t understand that we can’t just give them what they want all the time because that can result in bad business. That is why we often compromise so the business isn’t taking that much of a loss.
A great example of Great Customer service is when my neighbor’s flooring got left outside in the rain for two days. He called the company back up and told them the problem, they got people to come to pick up the old flooring, the ordered new flooring, and they took off some of the install fees for his inconvenience because the company didn’t deliver the flooring correctly.
