Reviews:
Reviews should include a bibliographic entry for the book or article reviewed and 700-800 words of text (these numbers will be strictly enforced!) that briefly outlines your assessment of the purpose, organization, and usefulness of the material or research article. An accurate word-count should appear at the bottom of the review. You must review two books with ESL activities (look in the Curriculum Lab at the Library or start building your own resource library) and one journal article (from a 2010 or more recent issue of any journal whose focus is on Applied Linguistics. Some options are: Studies in Second Language Acquisition, Second Language Research, Bilingualism: Language and Cognition, Linguistic Approaches to Bilingualism, TESOL Quarterly, Language Learning, English for Specific Purposes
