Throughout the quarter, you will compile a portfolio of urban images, experiences, and analysis that reflects your understanding of urban geography. This portfolio will include 2-3 of the following, so that your final portfolio has at least 7 pages of writing:

1. mental map exercise. We will conduct this exercise in class. You will then include analysis on why your mental map looked the way it did, citing sources from class readings.
The teacher asked us to draw Chicago and what’s comes first to your mind, so basic stereotypes and famous structures in Chicago that people think of Chicago, so I just need to explain why I thought of these things using the readings.
