Public And Private Police Partnership
Chapter five of the text lists four types of private policing. Select one of the four types of private policing and answer the following questions:
- What brought about the need for this kind of policing?
- Does this type of private policing do a better job (for its intended purpose) than what could be done by the public police? If so, how? If not, why?
- How can the public police and private police form a partnership that would make policing in this area even more effective?
