Give a response to the answer to this question..
3. Give a novel example (not from the text) of the difference between central traits and secondary traits. Can you think of any examples of individuals in modern times that might be used to describe a cardinal trait? (coming up with examples for these questions may be more difficult than you think! It may help to think about people you know from your personal life or from the media to get started).
Central traits are central to one’s personality and secondary traits only occasionally effect someone’s personality. A person could have central traits of being energetic and athletic. These central traits largely effect this person’s personality and daily behavior. The second person could have secondary traits of a football fanatic and being energetic at football games. These traits are only secondary because they do not have a large effect on the person’s behavior. They can only be seen at football games the person attends.
