V-Third Point of Support A. Explain your point. Why is it correct? What does it tell us about your POV being right? B. Evidence. This supports your position. Show us

VI- Oppositional Paragraphs A. What the opposition would respond to Point 1. This should be the opposite side’s response to your POV. All well rounded arguments

consider what the opposition would say. a. Your counter claim. So you have given your point, provided the opposition’s perspective and this is where you provide

evidence and further proof that your position is correct.  B. What the opposition would respond to Point 2. This should be the opposite side’s response to your POV.

reader to ponder and ask their own position, a quote, etc.) Make it memorable. It’s the last thing we’ll read.
