First, discuss the following for your company:

 

Summarize the company’s product or service that you are analyzing, including a mention of whether or not the company deals only in products, only in services, or if they offer both. 

 

Summarize the process by which these products are made or by which these services are provided (in other words, what is the process that is being used?). Be sure to mention whether or not changes to this process are needed when new products or services are introduced by the company. 

 

Assess why the company does or does not outsource the manufacturing of its products or the provision of its services.

 

Then, complete the following tasks as part of your analysis:

 

Diagram the process that is currently in use by developing a process map for how the company manufactures the product or provides the service.

 

Justify areas of process improvement for the company based upon the process map.

 

Evaluate whether the company is a make-to-order, make-to-stock, assemble-to-order, or engineer-to-order company, explaining what it is about the company that makes them the type of company that you are describing them to be.

In addition, write a 500-750 word rationale for your pedagogical decisions, answering the following:

 

How would you incorporate multiple perspectives in the discussion of content, including attention to students’ personal, family, and community experiences and cultural norms to promote the student success?

 

How has your planning been informed and affected by what you have learned about learning theory, human development, cultural diversity, and individual differences?

 

What are some of your personal biases related to these students or opportunities for growth that require examination in order for you to become an effective teacher, specifically by promoting ethical practice, building stronger relationships with students and parents, and creating more relevant learning experiences for all students?

 

Support your ideas with 3-5 scholarly resources.

Social and emotional learning is often overlooked in the secondary classroom since teachers have limited time with students. Discuss a strategy or idea you could implement in your future classroom on a regular basis to help students connect with each other, build self-confidence, and create a supportive community that values everyone’s contributions.

 

Create an Ethical Code for any individual(s), group of individuals, and or department of a higher education institution.

The Ethical Code should concentrate and include ethical dilemmas and incorporate the laws and ethical issues presented in the course

 

Review other ethical codes for assistance in the development of your ethical code.

 

Identify the educational institutions utilized for purposes of this project and include appropriate references

 

The ethical code should not contain any language that would violate or result in conflict with any of the key Federal laws which have been identified during the course

 

The Ethical Code should be limited to four pages.

 

The ethical code can be written from an administrator perspective for faculty, staff or student application. It can be written for a fictitious educational institution at any level Pre-K through Doctoral program, religious, public or private educational institution.

 

Identify the perspective and the Code’s application.

 

Citation to sources for the development of the Code must be included. Any other codes utilized must be identified in the footnotes,  sources or references at the end of the code.

Write a paper discussing your opinion based on research on the above topic. The paper should be at least 2 pages long, and not more than 4. The overall format of the paper is up to you, as long as it is an appropriate format that shows time and effort on the assignment. Keep this in simple, real world wording. Don’t just copy definitions from Bio 101 or resources. Write as though you are trying to explain the subject to your friends or family in your own words.  You must use at least 3 resources to support your discussion.

 

Make sure you explore and fully answer the following questions in your paper.

 

· What are enzymes and how do they work? (Again, keep this in simple, real world wording. Don’t just copy Bio 101 definition.)

 

· What is the raw food diet? Full explanation

 

· What claims does the raw food diet make about not cooking foods because they destroy enzymes?

 

· What happens to enzymes during digestion/when it comes into contact with our stomach acids?

 

· Find support/oppostion for both sides of the argument (for and against) and what you find to be most believable.

 

· What happened in lab when you exposed enzymes to heat and different pHs? Use this information to discuss what may happen when food is cooked or exposed to stomach acid after we eat them. 

 

· Make sure to discuss optimal temps and pH’s…different enzymes have different optimals…how does this play into this topic?

 

· Make sure to include your opinions on the subject. You can even make the paper persuasive if you like.

 

· Keep the focus on the topic above. You can discuss other benefits/disadvantages of the raw food diet; however, the majority of the paper should focus on enzymes in relation to the diet claims.

Demonstrate your knowledge/understanding of moral entrepreneurship, moral panics and social problems. Satisfactory “demonstration of knowledge and understanding” includes demonstrated knowledge of and familiarity with the four original (required) readings by Kai Erikson, Howard Becker, Brezina and Phipps and Stanley Cohen.

 

You should be able to trace the development of theories regarding moral entrepreneurship, labelling, moral panics and social problems from Kai Erikson and Howard Becker to Stanley Cohen to Brezina and Phipps. Try to identify (describe) the main elements and/or similarities that tie these readings together. Does the social reaction toward the economically disadvantaged victims of Hurricane Katrina rise to the level of moral entrepreneurship and moral panic described by Becker and Cohen? Try to provide a solid, evidence-based rationale to back up your arguments in favour of (or opposed to) the application of the moral panics/social problems approach to the social reaction in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Social movements can change the world. After reading Chapter 12 of the text,Sociology: Beyond Common Sense, and the article, Sociology and Social Movements, discuss the social movements that have been noted in the United States in the last decade. Moreover, discuss what implications those movements have had on today’s culture. Finally, hypothesize what current social movements could transform the future of the world.

 

The Department of Defense plans to issue a $400,000 government contract to a company that specializes in drone navigation technologies. As a result, a government auditor has been contacted to examine the operational data VectorCal and one (1) competitor (previously identified as “your company”) in order to decide which company should win the government contract.

 

Note: You may create and / or make all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.

This deliverable will examine your ability to describe and evaluate the organizational framework of a business entity.

 

Instructions

 

When starting a new business venture, you must decide whether you will take over a family business, start a new business, or buy an existing business. You must show investors that you have evaluated each option and decided on the alternative that would be most beneficial for your business. Once you make this decision, you must choose the legal structure that would best suit your business goals. In addition, you will want to consider the types of managers your business will need. Communicate this information to your investors in a well-organized written plan, making sure that you explain the reasoning behind your choices.

 

If you take over a family business or buy an existing business, you will more than likely keep the business structure and management systems that are already in place. If that is what you choose, then, for part two below, describe to your investors the existing business structure and its advantages for your business. For part three below, describe the current management positions in that business.

 

Determine the type of business you will start (taking over a family business, starting a new business, buying an existing business, and buying a franchise), and explain why you made that choice.

 

Identify the legal structure that you feel will best benefit your business (Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation, or LLC). Discuss the advantages of this structure for your business.

 

Discuss the types of management positions your business will need, and, using the four functions of management, describe the tasks each management position will perform for each function.

Landing page optimization is an important part of the overall marketing process. When sending an e-mail or linking a paid advertisement, it is important that the message you express is reiterated on the landing page.

 

Choose an existing email you have recently received to complete this assignment.

 

In a 3-4 page paper, address the following:

 

Compare and contrast what you changed from the e-mail to the landing page

 

What did you learn in regards to resource planning between e-mail and the Web?

 

What are the ways in which conversion can be increased? Support your statements with appropriate examples and scholarly references.
