Using the VCASTLE NetLab+, complete the following activities.

Click on the Show Lab Content button after you schedule the lab.

It is strongly suggested that you open the Lab Content in one window and the topology image in another, and arrange them side by side so you may read the instructions in one window and enter the commands in the other.

If you are using local classroom equipment you will need to implement or verify the cabling topology. For the VCASTLE Netlab+ remote lab system, the physical cable connections have already been made. Reference in the remote lab regarding connecting cables should be ignored.

Interface names may vary among network device types. The interface names shown in the topology image are consistent with those found in the lab activity document. Use the IOS show interface and show controllers commands to determine the actual interface names for the devices used in the lab pod.

When you have completed the activities, answer the questions that are within the individual labs in a Word Document. Within your submission, include your completed Save and name your file, “CIS204_U1_LabAssignment_LastName.docx“.

You must complete the activities in the following order:

  • Lab 2.2.4.11: Configuring Switch Security Features
  • Lab 2.3.3.5: Configuring a Switch Management Address
  • Lab 2.5.2.5: Troubleshooting IPv4 and IPv6 Static Routes

1.Write an algorithm for resolving a battle among the classic Pokemon types.

The user should select a type of either fire, water or grass. The computer should randomly select one of those three types as well.

To determine if the user or computer wins, or if it is a draw: fire is stronger than grass, grass is stronger than water, and water is stronger than fire. Whomever chose the stronger type is the winner. If both chose the same type it is a draw.

SeePreview the document for an example of what an algorithm should look like. Your algorithm should be at a similar level of detail.

See ( )for an example of the interactions and determining a winner (the example has pictures, your algorithm needs only to consider text based inputs and messages)

If you submit python code instead on an algorithm you will not receive points for this question.

2.Write a program that ask the user for a string as input. It should duplicate of all the characters in the string and print it back out to the user. For example: AbC123 would be printed out as AAbbCC112233

3.Write a program that takes two lists and displays the items that occur in both lists. For example: [“a”, “b”, “c”] [“c”, “a”, “d”] would display a and c

You are a new manager in a research and development department at an agricultural chemical company. Your department engages in high-level scientific research for new product development and improvement upon existing products. Your department also engages in business research to support your sales and marketing teams. While both types of research employ the scientific method, the approach differs.
Company policy dictates that business research documents be formatted in a specific way and include the following elements: research strategies, research methods, data analysis, and business strategies based on findings. There is also an expectation that the research results will be presented in settings outside of the R&D department. This may be in the form of a summary document or a presentation.
You have decided to prepare a manual for your entry level business research analysts that provides a guide for the format and presentation of their final research project. The manual will be a step-by-step reference guide for the completion and presentation of a research project. The manual will include direction on the elements described above.
