In this unit, you learned about sociological theories of crime. The course textbook and the unit lesson provide multiple ideas on the causes of criminal behavior, the sociological theories. For this assignment, you will compose an essay that explores this topic. To write your essay, complete the following steps:
1) Analyze the sociological theories presented in this unit.
2) Select five theories that you feel would benefit your community. Rank them in order of most effective to least effective. Describe how the theories could be applied to criminal behavior in your community.
3) Take the theory that you believe would benefit your community most effectively and find four sources you can use to look at both sides of the issue, two supporting your choice and two not supporting your choice. Analyze and argue both sides of the theory selected.
Your paper must be at least two pages in length. All parts of your essay should be composed in one, cohesive paper with an introduction and conclusion. Your essay must be formatted in APA style. A minimum of four academically accepted resources must be used to support your analyses. Any information from these sources should be cited and referenced in APA format. You only need one reference page for all sections; include the references for all sections on that page(s). Roles of Healthcare Professionals
This assignment will be at least 1500 words or more. Reflect on the roles of nurses, and other healthcare professionals as the roles of physicians in the healthcare system moves from one of working in silos to a more progressive value-based system. Write a paper that discusses in detail why a value-based system may improve health care in the U. S. and address the following questions:
- How has current policy transformed the current practice of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals?
- What distinction can you make between physicians/healthcare providers working in a fee-for-service system and a value-based care system?
- How do you view shared power between physicians and nurses in your healthcare system? How does it impact care?

The Aloha Airlines 737-200 accident sparked the interest in maintenance human factors and maintenance resource management (MRM). It prompted Transport Canada to produce the dirty dozen: a maintenance course designed to identify judgment errors. Likewise, after many aircraft near misses, Europe and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) produced training programs such as the air traffic teamwork enhancement (ATTE) and team resource management (TRM). These courses were designed to promote awareness and safety and reduce human error.
Review the readings and this article retrieved from the Hunt Library, and start a narrated presentation.
Address the following:
- Explain the two topics (ATC and MX) for clarification and understanding.
- Discuss the similarities and differences of MRM and TRM from CRM.
- Assess the impact of these applications to aviation safety.
