Our major assignment for this semester is to build a website for educators to learning about and access resources for implementing SEL in their classrooms, and to do so in ways that are culturally responsive to their students.

Before we delve into that, the question to you is – what makes for a good educational website? Our goal is to share information with professionals so that it will be readily used. What should our website have in order to facilitate that?

Last semester, my students and I built an educational website about the social impacts of pandemics – www.pandemics.education. You can review this as an example of an educational website. This was the first attempt to build something like this for all of us, so there are some positives and some negatives.

You should also seek out other sites – ones you know of or new ones – to pull together ideas for what we should do with our website.
