For the purpose of the class, we looked at ” Baltimore communities are safe”.  We also looked at data to support “safety”  related to the death of Freddie Gray.  We also engaged in an exercise using RBA 7 questions to examine indicators about what is happening in the 21217 zip code and the quality of life in the same zip code

Identify your elected officials Fed, State, City/municipal.-my area is Bowie Maryland
Based on your identified indicators and outcome statement. Share how the elected official has voted.
For example President,  House of Representatives and Senate (federal and state level) , Mayor, Council Person
Record their policy position or stance.  Does their vote align as support or against your position.

Develop a written response  (2-3 paragraphs).

Review the videos of The History Makers 5 below:
Per the population concern you have identified search terms.
For example:  homelessness, domestic violence, healthcare, housing, substance abuse.
Identify 5 different History Makers that address your issue. 
Keep in mind the related terms or concerns they bring up.
What information are they providing about how the issue was addressed or why it’s important?
For instance,  vote  may also appear as the term legislate, legislation, policy, ordinance
Use the content from the 5 History Makers to develop answers to the 7 questions regarding your outcome. 
Develop a written statement that incorporates the content from the above discovery.  (1 page)
