Describe how the movie or novel illuminates the issue and that insights can be gleaned from the text that might be applied to our contexts. In short, ou are expected to facility three-way conversation between the text, context and a movie or novel.

The essay should reflect your own engagement with the primary text. Since this is a response/reflection essay, you are encouraged not to consult commentaries while writing them. However, you may consult Sacra Pagina (The Gospel of Matthew by Daniel Harrington as provided), as it is a primary textbook for this course. Translation is needed, too.
