Describe the communication technique called motivational interviewing and discuss why motivational interviewing is a technique commonly used by case managers and those in health care professions.  Reflect on one of the clients in the virtual experience and describe how/why that client could benefit from motivational interviewing techniques used by the community/public health nurse.  And finally, give an example of how you as a Registered Nurse could incorporate motivational interviewing into your practice.  Use at least two professional references in addition to your textbook.
