2. What is the visual cliff?  What aspects of the infants abilities does the visual cliff
    experiment test?

3. What does the visual cliff tell us about infant’s vision and depth perception?  How do
    scientists know if an infant notices the drop?  ANSWER BOTH QUESTIONS!

4. On what factors does reaction to the visual-cliff depend?  Factors: more than one.

5. When should you be particularly worried that your baby will fall off the bed or down
    the stairs?  Why at that age?  (Your answer should indicate a specific age range and
    answer both questions.)

For assistance answering these questions, refer to Chapter 6 in your textbook.

When answering the questions, number the question so I know what question you are answering.  Skip a line between questions. Answer all the parts of each question.  Use complete sentences and good writing mechanics. Each question should be between 70-90 words in length.

The assignment is worth 54 points; each question is worth 10 points. The last 4 points are allocated as follows: 2 points for submission on time, 2 points for good writing, extra credit will be awarded for a very well written or elaborated response. One point will be deducted for each question that doesnt meet the word count.
