Choose a film that illustrates one or more of the sociological perspectives/ theories discussed in this course and write a 5-7 page paper (No cover page; place a reference page at the end; APA format, Double space, Times New Roman, 12 font, Normal Margins) on how that film illustrated the perspective. Reference peer reviewed sources in 5 places (ex.  Jefferson, 2017, pg. ) related to the theories used.  A few examples of the film and the perspective(s) it illustrates include: Shrek (symbolic interactionism), Antz (functionalism), Titanic (the conflict perspective), or Apollo 13 (a case can be made for this film as illustrating any of the three perspectives). Other films may also be used depending on their subject matter and plot.
