1. So what I found surprising is that accidents could actually cause miscommunication and the cross relationship would be hard to build when accidents are involved on this is described by the globe, nasty acts of discrimination, where we use accent as a characteristic to identify someone unfamiliar, or foreign well include also stated that bias against foreign speech patterns are not universally recognized as a form of prejudice. So it is true that accents are an integral part of our of our identity which is suggested by a doctor, as well people acknowledge this, we unconsciously categorize people into different groups or communities, as Dr. Agarwal further suggests, this is caused by high ethnocentric attitudes were aware we stand on a hierarchical view. I consider this as caused by misunderstanding. So it is true that accidents may make it more difficult for native speakers to understand and sometimes it would cause miscommunication where the accuracy would be suspected illustrating my experience at the Toronto airport with the staff from the customs, I had to answer, which day, I was, I was out in Canada, which I left for a four month, summer vacation, and could not remember the specific dates, the first time the staff asked me I said I lived around maybe about the end of April and the second time she asked me, I said maybe at the start of May. So, it is easy to identify that I am not sure about the specific date of departure but the staff appear to be so mad and even slams the table and challenges my inability. I assume that she had prejudiced on me based on my looking and my accent since such incident did not happen in an airport before, or even after that day, I believe that, improving English pronunciation is more difficult than other aspects of language since it is hard to throw away our speaking habits from our home countries such as tone of voice grammar and pronunciations. It is said by Alyssa that most countries it isn’t very conductive to language learning in general, this is true when considering Chinese schools. We don’t actually focus that much on English speaking, she further says that, even if we want to practice English speaking skills through having conversations between our classmates, we can improve our pronounciation or change our accent since these people who we have conversation with also have accents. What we need to do to prevent misunderstanding is to build trust relationship, were suggested by Marco, that we need to speak confidently and change our tone of voice to let others believe us. In addition, I think we also need to speak clear and easy for others to pay attention to our words, rather than time accents. Thank you.

2. today I would like to discuss with you three articles, I have recently read. And actually I can say this was a good experience. It was really interesting and fascinating so I just pointed out really good points for myself in the future. And also, I found this really intriguing that, you know, people, I mean not people, but people’s brain is really affected by accident, because it feels it’s something, something alive, or isn’t logical, it says about to be encouraged with the end to be out of, out of group. So it means to have different linguistic or cultural background. So it’s actually really interesting by the way it goes. I’m never, I’ve never thought about it this way. And also another article it’s really sad to recognize that a lot of researchers have shown up this actually people with accent. If they have a problem for, for example career promoting or to be fully understand, and this kind of mistreatment, kind of, not to racism, of course, but sometimes it feels like, because you know, even if you even if you speak English you can express yourself. People just often cannot hear what you’re saying, because they have a prejudice, of your accent they think you’re not fluent or not. You’re, maybe you’re not having a good English. That’s why, but I also believe that improving this part of language, excuse me, pronunciation. It is really hard job to do, because it’s our nature, it’s how we’re born. It’s not that you can practice your learning skills your listening skills your reading skills, writing skills. It’s something else. And we have to understand it, all of us. And also I would like berberine an example that happens to me. When I first came in United States In the United States, and fantasy 16 in New York. This edition happened with police officers, that was an airport. So in Russia, we always say, in Russia, we always say, where I can go in, all means, where I can go and so we didn’t use where I can go into. So that’s I asked this officer, and I also had a strong accent is a lot of Russian typical sound, and he couldn’t just understand me, but I tried to explain that, like, where I can go into the Penn Station How can I go to the base station. And I will say, How can I go in on end stage, and you know in English. Going on saying saying means like, How are you, how is going on, and he couldn’t understand when is when something is going on, how is it going on. He was totally confused but of course a three to four minutes are talking so we just need discussed and understood a charter, but it was really hard. So that was my example biggest so much attention guys.
