This assignment expects the equivalent of 1 paragraph per answer (point form notes are fine as long as they are detailed enough to answer the question).

Important Note:
1. If you have any concern or unsureness about this assignment, pls let me know as soon as possible, I will explain.

2. Must follow the instruction and read all required reading before answering each question.

3. Answering the questions based on the given material.

Research the history of scientific experimentation on humans in the United States.
What types of experiments have been done, and how did researchers find test subjects?
Why did scientists find it necessary to conduct research on human beings? How did
the development of HeLa cells change the way research could be conducted? What
attempts (e.g. Nuremberg) have been made to govern the way this research is
conducted, and how successful have these attempts been?

expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of the readings, reflection papers are not intended to simply summarize the readings. Rather, outline the main points of the readings and use this as the basis for a critical reflection.

Critical reflections should demonstrate depth in thinking about the material they are learning, and evaluate critically how theories and practices of geography can influence their own lived experiences and observations about the world.
Students are encouraged to draw on other sources in addition to course materials, including the weekly discussion postings from previous Units if applicable.
All sources, including the course readings, lecture notes, and discussion postings must be properly cited using APA.

(Links to an external site.)
It is a peer-reviewed site where journal articles are available.
Search and pick one topic that you are interested in, (Covid-19, cancer, sepsis, etc.) which is related to microbiology.
You may select one or more papers to write this paper.
Write a review of the topic you choose.  It must be a 2-3 page paper written in MLA or APA format.

The HW is different from what was posted on the original course schedule. Please do the following–

(1) List the 5 most abundant chemical elements (not compounds) (a) in the Earth’s crust, and (b) in the human body. (No calculation required; just cite your source.)

(2) (a) Estimate the number of atoms in an ordinary sheet of paper. (b) If all these atoms were lined up in a straight line, like a chain with each atom one “link”, would that “chain” reach from the Earth to the Moon, or even further, or not as far? Show rough calculations in support of each answer.

(3) Look up “xkcd radiation chart” (on the internet or from the lecture slide). Write down FOUR facts from it which you think are important – and perhaps surprising – to know.

Clearly identify each of the groups you are discussing
Compare and contrast the physical properties of the members of the group
Explain the physical properties of the group in terms of atomic structure and attractive forces between the particles
Identify, explain why and discuss how reactivity varies within the group
Identify how, and explain why, reactivity varies as it does within each group
Throughout your discussions of the above characteristics draw pertinent comparisons between the two groups you have chosen to explore.

To please answer the follow:

DQ 1

Differentiate between the different types of symbiotic relationships.

DQ 2

Distinguish among sporadic, endemic, epidemic, and pandemic diseases.

To uses”2″ references” in APA Format

To please include the book,Burton’s Microbiology For the Health Sciences Tenth Edition, Paul G. Engelkirk and Janet Duben-Engelkirk as reference as well.

A GallPeters projection as well as a south-up Peters map were featured in the American television show The West Wing (season 2, episode 16), in which the (fictitious) Organization of Cartographers for Social Equality is given access to the White House Press Secretary due to “Big Block of Cheese Day”.

Discuss why Dr. John Fallow (actor John Billingsley) promoted the use of this map over Mercator projection?

bascially write out a script for me according to material I have offered,  forcus and try to tie in exactly how the procedure would get us to the hypothesis. only for the part of hypothesis and Procedure. also thinking about a question for audience

Essay on “Energy in the News”. See posted instructions. Actually, I will be somewhat lenient about how recent the article should be. If you absolutely cannot find a VERY recent article I will accept a writeup about some article from a few months back. But it should be from this year, at least.

For maximum credit make sure to include some of the physics you have already learned thus far. Showing calculations is not required but would be great. As is evidence that you are capable of logical and quantitative reasoning.

OK, enough said.
