The Nature of Human Resource Management 

Human Resource Management (HRM) takes a strategic approach in developing and maintaining a qualified workforce to gain a competitive advantage. The role of a Human Resource Manager in the strategic process is to focus on the specific areas that will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization. If you were an HR Manager, on which would you focus? Give a rationale for your choice(s).

Word limit: 2,500 words (maximum, no further allowances)

Criteria: Student must choose an individual product or service ITEM(not a line, variant or company) and undertake a critical analysis of the following:

1. The consumer behaviour of a typical customer (20%)

2. The marketing mix strategies (40%)

3. The segmentation, targeting and positioning strategies (30%)

4. Make a recommendation to improve either the marketing mix strategies or the STP strategies (10%)

5. The analysis must be based in 2018-2019 and you must support your analysis with evidence from current academic and industry literature. When choosing the product or service item, students must:

 Choose one country in which to base their analysis

 Ensure the product or service item is currently for sale in the chosen country 

 Ensure there is sufficient supporting evidence available in the public domain to undertake the required analysis

Submission Instructions: The submission must be in report format, i.e. using headings, subheadings, diagrams, tables, models, frameworks, narrative and bullet-points and references (Harvard Style). The word count ONLY EXCLUDES the title page, contents page and reference list. NO appendices allowed. EVERYTHING else is included in the word count – this includes all tables, diagrams, figures etc even if imported into the document.

INSTRUCTIONS
Develop an analytical essay with a minimum of three pages, no more than five pages (not including the title and references pages), using the six principles of mission command (ADRP [Army Doctrine Reference Publication] 6-0, Mission Command, sections 2-1 thru 2-5) to appraise.

Constructing essay in accordance with the APA Writing Style.
Analyze and evaluate the major points of your case study for research utilizing the Six Principles of Mission Command. Use your time to develop a deep understanding of your topic to fully explain your analysis. You are required to give an in depth introduction of your topic using an abstract based on the APA writing style. Then, develop the body of the paper using not less than 3 full pages, and no more than 5 pages. Provide transitional sentences from one topic to the next. You are required to provide at least three scholary or doctrinal reference on a properly APA formatted reference page at the end of your essay.
Ensure your essay is double-spaced, uses 1″ margins, and Times New Roman 12 point font. Furthermore, it must follow the APA standards described on the online resource located at https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/10/.

    The  essay should include four major sections:
o    Title Page
o    Abstract (150 to 250 words)
o    Main Body
o    References Page

    ADRP 6-0 contains the information on the six principles of mission command needed for evaluating the case study.

Callaway is thinking about entering the golf ball market. The company will make a profit if its market share is more than 20%. A market survey indicates that 140 of 624 golf ball purchasers will buy a Callaway golf ball.
