This is an assignment that has 2 components, 1b and 3b. I have attached the rubrics and instructions for both parts, as they detail the requirements and structure.  the assignments ask for information to be pulled from specific course topics, I will provide a list of the topics covered in the course. the are segmented into 3 different modules.

LIST OF TOPICS

(1) The Market for Labor (week 2-5)
Determinants, characteristics and empirical evidence on labor market supply;
Determinants, characteristics and empirical evidence on demand for labor;
Determinants, characteristics and empirical evidence on labor market equilibria and the impact
of public policy on labor market outcomes.

(2) Unemployment and Job Search
Empirical short- and long-term unemployment patterns; job and worker flows; job search;
Equilibrium search and matching model; current unemployment patterns and public policy in
the Covid-19 pandemic

(3) You will choose a topic from a list I provide (week 9-12)
Topics choices will include: Education and labor market outcomes; wage inequality in Canada
and other developed countries; technological change and labor market outcomes; Employee
ownership and labor market participation. Other topics may be offered.

Discussion: Analysis
To generate analysis, scholarly writers ask themselves questions about the evidence, such as What does this piece of evidence mean? How does it bolster my argument? How does this piece of evidence connect to another piece? What do I want my readers to understand or get from this evidence?

In this Discussion, you practice answering these questions by analyzing the evidence from Week 3.

To prepare for this Discussion:

Review the Week 3 Discussion for your paraphrased evidence as well as any feedback received.
Review the Learning Resources on analysis.
Recall the argument you are making.
By Day 4
Post your initial 1- to 2-paragraph response that addresses the following:

Using the evidence you identified and paraphrased in Week 3, analyze that evidence in the context of the argument you are making.
Additionally, reflect on the process of analyzing the evidence. Pose any questions and/or explain challenges that came up during the process.
By Day 6
Respond to at least two colleagues by doing one of the following:

Give feedback on their analysis
Share insights on analyzing evidence
Address one of the questions or challenges your colleague posed, based on your experience or knowledge
