(b) Humor

(c) Appeal to fears and/or guilt of the consumer

(d) Sex or use of subliminal messages

Mrs. Grayson (75 years old) has lived alone for 19 years since her husband died. She has 4 adult children. Three children live within walking distance of her home. Until recently, she was completely independent in her home environment. Last month, Mrs. Grayson had a stroke that left her with some residual weakness. She received short term home health assistance after hospital discharge. After that assistance ended, one son invited her to live with him and his family. She politely declined. Since then, she has fallen two times at night with the most recent fall leaving a large bruise on her right side. When her son saw the bruise, she admitted to falling at night when she tried to go to the bathroom.

Based on the vignette, select a long-term care option (long-term care at home, community-based programs, or naturally occurring retirement communities) for Mrs. Grayson. Consider the strengths, weaknesses, and considerations for each option.

” The Role of Audit Committees in Corporate Governance “

Few ideas I want to discuss in the research ( feel free to add your own points)
–    The affect of the audit committees on corporate governance; does it enhance it? And by how far?
–    Does it affect the quality of the financial reports ?
–    Its relation to increase the confidence in firms by investors.
–    Its relation to strengthen the economy as a whole.

I will also attach a research-proposal guidance to help you. Please cover the points in there.

Sound advertising practices include the CAN elements of connectedness, appropriateness and novelty that are important for a creative advertisement. This means that the audience can relate to the advertisement on some level; the ad provides appropriate information for the consumers needs and all MARCOM communications are delivering the same consistent message; and the ad is fresh and unexpected. However, the advertisement novelty should not overwhelm the message. You have all seen advertisements which were very novel or creative, but when they were finished, you could not remember the product or service they were attempting to sell. But beyond these CAN elements is the notion of stickiness and the six factors that determine whether an ad is sticky will be remembered by the audience and will actually change their opinions or behavior. Additionally, advertisements have a purpose. The advertiser is trying to remind the consumer about a product or service, inform the consumer of a product or service, or persuade the consumer to buy the product or service, try it, or get more information about it. All of these concepts make up sound advertising practices in MARCOM.

Topic: Ads that Stick and More

Using the six stickiness factors on pages 204205:

Discuss an advertisement that you have seen on the Internet or on television and how it meets or does not meet these sticky ad requirements. Provide the name of the advertiser/product.
Summarize the ad and discuss what the advertiser is trying to accomplish with the ad. Is the focus to remind, inform, or persuade the audience?
What, if anything, would you change about this advertisement to make it stickier?
Is there anything you would do to improve the ad overall?
Make sure to provide the URL link to the advertisement if online

Overview: This week, you will further refine your population and problem and compare your suspicions about this problem to local, state, and national data on the topic. Your practicum project should come into clear focus as you continue to analyze related health data, and you should consider how you, as the nurse, might help them avoid development of the problem in the first place (primary prevention measures).

Discussion: This week your assignment is to collect and then refine health data about the issue that affects your population group. You will use scholarly professional literature to support your ideas about the population at risk. If data is not available for your population on a local level, then use county or state data. Some examples of health data that you might consider gathering are epidemiologic information related to health conditions, reproductive outcomes, causes of death, vital statistics, socioeconomic data including poverty and/or educational levels, quality of life issues, and/or lack of access to health care due to lack of health insurance or access to providers. You will want to compare local data with state and national trends to fully understand the extent of the selected problem in your community.

Please address the following points in your Practicum Discussion:

Describe the specific health problem and population you have selected.
What data did you find to support your decision? Help each other further refine and clarify the problem and population.
What useful health data and public health websites did you locate to support your position?
What other evidence did you find? You can include scholarly articles in this discussio

The final paper will be between 5 to 8 pages with 10 scholarly articles. This does not include the title page, abstract or the reference page. This week you will submit your final paper in APA format and writing.

Instructions

Each week you have assembled a different part of your research paper (except for week 6). Please make sure that you read the comments and corrections and institute them into your final paper as needed. Note: The annotated bibliography paragraphs are not included in the paper. The references from the annotated bibliography (as corrected) should be on the reference page of your final paper. The outline is NOT included in the paper. The outline is used to help you with the flow of your paper.
Remember that you will be using the same selected topic with all the assignments (except week 6) during the eight weeks of the course.

DETAILS:

1. You must have 10 scholarly articles that are within the last 10 years. Scholarly articles are peer-reviewed and can be found via the APU/AMU library. You do not submit the annotated bibliography as part of the final paper. You do use properly formatted references for the reference page.

2. Follow the detailed outline that you submitted. Your detailed outline is to help you write the paper and to ensure all references are used. It is not included in the paper.

3. Make sure that your abstract is on a separate page immediately following the title page. The heading is Abstract not the title of the paper. If you do not understand what is to be included in an abstract read the abstracts from the articles you selected.

4. Utilize the APA Helps as necessary in the Resources area to help you present your research paper in APA format, which means that you need to write a Title Page, Abstract Page and References Page separate from the body of the text of the paper. Avoid unsupported statements whenever possible. In many cases, you will write a paragraph of text and insert a citation only once. When you use a direct quote, include the page number of the source, too. Some may ask why APA is so important. APA is the mode of communication of the written word in the research field. It is the due diligence of graduate management students to excel at APA.

5. Make sure to check the Turnitin report and fix your paper for any issues with quotes and potential plagiarism.

6. Please remember this is an academic paper and 3rd person is required.
