Ephesians Outline
Based on your chosen Ephesians passage, create a tentative outline of your entire final paper. Use numbers 2-6 in the outline model in Appendix 2 of the textbook (pp. 455-456) for the major section headings and content of each part of your paper. Under each sectional heading tentatively outline what you plan to present in that section. Section 2 is to include your personal outline of the chosen Ephesians passage.
This tentative outline may be refined as you write the paper for submission next week.
Your final project is to be 6-8 pages, not including the Title and Resources pages, instead of the 9-13 pages indicated in the textbook model. Therefore, your page allocations should be as follows:
Main idea and passage outline – page (Indicate the translation you are using.)
Introduction page
Context 1 page
Content 3-5 pages
Application 1 page
Grading will be based on your adherence to these page limits.
Use APA formatted headings to identify each section of the paper.
Submit your tentative project outline along with the Title and References pages for your final paper by the posted due date using the link above.
For specific help in formatting an exegetical paper Duvall & Hays provide a link on the first page for A Short Guide To Writing Exegetical Papers. This is an excellent resource, but it does not show APA formatting.
