  1. Propose one example of a nursing intervention related to the disaster from each of the following levels: primary prevention, secondary prevention, and tertiary prevention. Provide innovative examples that have not been discussed by previous students.
  2. Under which phase of the disaster do the three proposed interventions fall? Explain why you chose that phase.
  3. With what people or agencies would you work in facilitating the proposed interventions and why?

Task: Compare The Great Ming Empire, The Mughal Empire, The Safavid Empire, or  the Ottoman Empire. It could be any of them, but I need at least two.

For this essay assignment, you will compare and contrast any two of the empires discussed in this unit, discussing similarities and differences between them. Possible topics that you can consider for the comparison and contrast in the essay are strengths and weaknesses of the empires and/or rulers, economic policies, military systems, empire expansion efforts, wars and conquests, forms of government and/or administration, religious systems and policies, social and cultural developments, problems faced within the empire, empirical legacies, and interactions between the two empires, if any.

Expectations and Criteria for Success:

You should base your discussion with the information in the course content, but outside research is allowed if needed.  DO NOT use Wikipedia as a source.  As always, be sure to keep track of where you find your information so that you can provide citations in your final essay.  Essays should be typed in 12-point font with a simple, clean font such as Times New Roman. Use 1″ inch margins on all sides and double-space the text. Your essays should each be around 1000 words.

Successful essays should be carefully organized, with strong thesis statements and specific evidentiary support.  In your introduction, introduce both of the empires that you will be discussing and lay out the topic for the essay.  The body of the essay will include the comparison and the contrast of the empires.  Conclude by discussing which of the two empires you think was more effectively established or had a stronger foundation, including the reasons why you reached this conclusion.  Be sure to revise and edit carefully.

WRITE A RESPONSE FOR THE FOLLOWING POST:

The World Health Organization (2017) advocates that health is a right of all human beings and that states have a legal obligation to provide for the healthcare needs of the population they serve. The idea of health being a right is the premise of the universalist health system (Toth, 2016), where the country takes care of their citizens health needs. Per the United States Census, in 2018 there were 27.5 million people who did not have health insurance in the U.S. (Berchick, Barnett, & Upton, 2019). In 2011, a North Carolina 59-year-old man robbed a bank for one dollar, so that he could receive a three-year sentence and gain access to healthcare (Moisse, 2011) The man had a growth in his chest, two ruptured discs and was unemployed (Moisse, 2011). Then in 2013, a 50-year-old homeless Oregon man also robbed a bank for one dollar, with the hope that he would receive a three-year sentence along with back and foot surgery, and shelter (USA News, 2013).

The U.S. provides prisoners with healthcare, and yet there are millions of citizens who do not have the means to pay for their basic health care needs. Other countries of wealth and prosperity assure their citizens basic healthcare needs are met. Regulation defines what is considered a healthcare need versus a healthcare desire, similar to what the prison system will or will not pay for. In a country so full of wealth and prosperity, basic health needs that improve the quality of life should be taken care of by the public funds.

This is a topic proposal. Instructions listed below. I will be attaching an EXAMPLE of what the proposal topic paper SHOULD look like. DO NOT USE ANYTHING that is on the EXAMPLE PAPER!!!! It’s meant as a simple reference ONLY!

The purpose of this assignment is for you to propose a topic of interest and begin researching it.  For the first part of this assignment, you will write a short introduction (1-2 pages) of the topic/question of interest.  These pages should introduce your topic.  You will want to have an attention getter, justification statements, thesis and preview of your main points.  Your topic proposal must focus on communication behavior.  You need to make sure that there is some sort of message focused behavior being discussed.  If you are unclear as to what this means, please ask!

After providing this overview, please provide the following:

Preliminary research question or hypothesis.  This may change as your paper develops, but please provide the preliminary research question or hypothesis as you are currently thinking about the topic.
Conceptual definitions for all independent variables and dependent variables.

Please use third person (i.e., avoid I, me, you, etc.) to help get you comfortable with this type of writing.

After you have your topic defined, you need 10 peer reviewed journals for your bibliography in APA format. Please use journals from the Communication discipline.  An easy way to find these journals is using COMABSTRACTS through the ASU library. See the list provided for approved communication articles. Please keep these journals recent.  Aim for articles published within the last 5 years. You should search for articles that:

Help describe the problem you are studying and why it is important
    Define key variables or concepts
Provide a theoretical foundation for your argument
Help establish the links in your argument/explain why you think something should happen
Describes previous research on the key variable, population, etc.
Address the same question you are interested in only in a different setting, population, etc.

You will be graded on:
1. Do you have a topic proposal?
2. Do you have 10 journals?
3. Are they in APA format?
4. Do your conceptual definitions make sense and clearly define the phenomenon you are interested in?
5. Is your topic communication based?

The basic requirements for the assignment must be met or it will be impossible to get a grade better than a C (1-3 are the basic requirements).  You will NOT get a grade higher than a C if you do not have enough journals or a question.  You will be marked off for each APA error.  This is an easy assignment to do well on but it will be graded very strictly.

Submit an evidence-based practice paper about cultural competency in mental health nursing. An evidence-based practice paper allows you to explore best practice and help improve client outcomes on a psychiatric unit. Your paper should describe how you, as a nurse, will include – or have included – cultural awareness in a client diagnosed with a mental illness. The person you describe could be someone in your clinical setting, someone you have worked with in the past, or a theoretical client.

Remember that culture can also include gender equality, sexual orientation, and other cultures besides race and religion – including cultures unique to one particular family. Your paper should be at least 3 pages (double-spaced, not including the title or reference pages) in APA Format and include:

  • Assessment: Discuss what you would assess in regard to a client’s culture. For example, are there specific dietary requirements? Are schedule changes necessary to avoid conflicts with religious practices? Who is the spokesperson for the family? What would you assess?
  • Diagnosis: List any mental health nursing diagnoses this person has or may be at risk for. Include at least one cultural diagnosis.
  • Planning: What planning needs to be done to ensure the cultural and emotional safety of the client?
  • Implementation: What are interventions that would ensure the safety of your client in regard to culture? Include at least two interventions. For example, if your client has religious beliefs that affect the ability to take medications, what interventions would you create to ensure the client’s safety? What can you do to make sure the client’s cultural needs are met?
  • Evaluation: How will you evaluate whether your implementation was effective? Make sure the parameters are objective and measurable.
  • In your summary, discuss whether any completed interventions were successful. What could be done differently in the future? If the interventions have not yet been carried out, you might discuss some institutional changes that could be made to ensure cultural safety for all clients in that setting.

What spiritual considerations surrounding a disaster can arise for individuals, communities, and health care providers? Explain your answer in the context of a natural or manmade disaster. How can a community health nurse assist in the spiritual care of the individual, community, self, and colleagues?

I need my outline to not only match my essay, but to match the example attached which is a three part comms essay.

my instructor gave me some feed back and I will need this paper and outline to be adjusted to his recommendation.

This is what he wrote below:

The outline is important to ensure you have the intro, transitions, and conclusion correctly.
I just took a quick look at the essay you sent….and the intro, transitions, and conclusion DO NOT MEET SEA 3Part Comms requirements. They will all need to be re-written. I recommend you complete/re-do the outline (with Problem, Discussion and Recommendation) and send it back to me.

this is the instruction to the assignment I should follow below:

INTRODUCTION:
This assignment was adapted from the CNO Point Paper/Position Paper. Problem essays offer a means to advance recommendations in a direct and objective manner. Problem essays provide a concise summary of an important issue, include background information to clarify the problem, a discussion of the issues surrounding the problem, and conclude with a recommended course of action. Problem essays bring recommended solutions to the attention of an entire organization and bring concerns to a higher level.
INFORMATION:
This assignment provides the student the opportunity to develop and present a fact-based argument to address an issue currently facing military members. In addition, this problem essays provides the basis for an oral presentation to the Chiefs Mess on the topic selected.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Utilizing the Three-Part Communications Model, prepare an essay on an issue relevant to the military community. Everything in this assignment, including the essay, must be unclassified.
2. Students will choose a topic of Navy or military interest and present it to the Faculty Advisor (FA) for approval. Once approved, prepare a problem essay identifying the problem, a discussion of the size, scope, and impact of the problem, and a recommendation to correct or change the issue.
3. Develop an outline using the format provided in Handout HO 2-02-1. Submit the outline in accordance with FA guidance.
4. Use material provided in Modules 2.01a Three-Part Communications and 2.02 Effective Writing for assistance and guidance.

Communications. Recall that there are three parts to an essay: introduction, body, and
conclusion. For the body, use main points: Problem, Discussion, and Recommendation.
Remember to include a transition sentence between main points. The essay MUST use the main
points as described and in the order presented below.
A. Main point (1): Problem. States the problem the student identified. The problem lays
the foundation to explain the impact and recommendation. Include background information if
needed to clarify the main topic.
B. Main point (2): Discussion. Here, the student will look at the cause-and-effect of the
problem. State the issues as they currently affect the military community. What are the positive
and negative effects of this issue (pros and cons)? This main point will help the reader
understand the significance of the problem. Aim to persuade the reader with facts.
C. Main point (3): Recommendation. Based on the research and facts presented, propose
a solution to the problem. In this main point, the student will take a definitive position and state a
recommendation to correct or change the issue. (Reminder: Even though the student is making a
personal recommendation, consistent with the entire essay, write the recommendation in the third
person. See paragraph 10 above.)
GRADING CRITERIA: Refer to PE EVAL: 2-02-1
NOTE: Mechanics, structure, punctuation, and grammar are important in the
writing/composition process. Originality, substance, content, and clarity are equally vital.

  2. An explanation of how the principles of social work values and ethics might relate to your agency learning agreement throughout your field education experience
  3.  Refer to the topics covered in this week’s resources and incorporate them into your blog.

As an advanced practice nurse, you will likely experience patient encounters with complex comorbidities. For example, consider a female patient who is pregnant who also presents with hypertension, diabetes, and has a recent tuberculosis infection. How might the underlying pathophysiology of these conditions affect the pharmacotherapeutics you might recommend to help address your patients health needs? What education strategies might you recommend for ensuring positive patient health outcomes?

For this Discussion, you will be assigned a patient case study and will consider how to address the patients current drug therapy plans. You will then suggest recommendations on how to revise these drug therapy plans to ensure effective, safe, and quality patient care for positive patient health outcomes.

To Prepare

Review the Resources for this module and reflect on the different health needs and body systems presented.

Your Instructor will assign you a complex case study to focus on for this Discussion.

Consider how you will practice critical decision making for prescribing appropriate drugs and treatment to address the complex patient health needs in the patient case study you selected.

ASSIGNMENT: Case study has been attached below for this assignment.

Post a brief description of your patients health needs from the patient case study you assigned. Be specific. Then, explain the type of treatment regimen you would recommend for treating your patient, including the choice or pharmacotherapeutics you would recommend and explain why. Be sure to justify your response. Explain a patient education strategy you might recommend for assisting your patient with the management of their health needs. Be specific and provide examples.
