Water (both running and ground) is a resource that is becoming more and more important as population grows, and as the climate continues to change.

As such, it’s important for everyone to be informed, and the internet can be really helpful here.

For your discussion this week you need to find three scientists on Twitter that are reliable sources of information about water issues.  For your initial post I would like you to share their Twitter handles, along with a one sentence summary of who they are/what they do.

Please note that I specify reliable.  This means they must be scientists working in a water-related field, and actually tweeting about it.  To help with this, please check out this webpage (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. on evaluating sources (click to follow link (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.).

  1. Prepare the Early Management Decisions Statement.  You must cite at least 5 separate sources from the online course material or other resources based on your research. The citation should be a paraphrase of the source.  This will likely take you at least 500 words to write an adequate description of your Early Management Decisions Statement  that answers at a minimum the following learning objectives:
    • Define the legal form of business. Why?
    • Identify other legal issues such as copyrights, franchises, and patents.
    • Identity risks and risk management particularly insurance requirements.
    • Determine when outsourcing management and team infrastructure is the best course of action.
    • Identify potential suppliers including POS system, accounting, legal, furniture, products…
    • Identify a potential location. Why?
    • What is unique about your business that you must consider?
  2.  APA format and Word .doc/.docx format is required.

The  vast majority of the population associates Blockchain with  cryptocurrency Bitcoin; however, there are many other uses of  blockchain; such as Litecoin, Ether, and other currencies. In this  discussion, please describe at least two cryptocurrencies with  applicable examples. Discuss some similarities and differences. Lastly,  discuss if you have any experience using any cryptocurrencies.

Be  sure to use information from your readings and other sources from the  UC Library in your initial thread. Use proper citations and references  in your post.

Then,  respond to at least two of your classmates stating an opposing view to  their post with proper justification and examples in your posts. Each  response post should be at least one full paragraph.

Please make your initial post and two response posts substantive. A substantive post will do at least TWO of the following:

  • Ask an interesting, thoughtful question pertaining to the topic
  • Answer a question (in detail) posted by another student or the instructor
  • Provide extensive additional information on the topic
  • Explain, define, or analyze the topic in detail
  • Share an applicable personal experience
  • Provide  an outside source (for example, an article from the UC Library) that  applies to the topic, along with additional information about the topic  or the source (please cite properly in APA)
  1. Create a Financial Plan for your business. This will include an analysis of start-up cost, capital costs, operating cash flow, break-even analysis, and financing alternatives. Be sure to discuss all the assumptions upon which the Financial Plan is based.  Every number must have an assumption to support its validity.
  2. The spreadsheets should provide at least a month to month cash flow projection for the first year and a yearly summary for the first three years. The footnotes must discuss the assumptions.
  3. The discussion portion should include break-even analysis and financing alternatives.  There is no specific word count but this must be complete and robust.
  4. You may present all the information in a commented Excel spreadsheet or provide the Excel spreadsheet with a separate word document the assumptions but the spreadsheet must be in one of the suggested forms.  You do not have to cite sources and APA format is not required.

The Assignment will be a 4-8 page essay on the Nestle organization.
You will write a proposal on how you plan to implement education and training within the organization to address the opportunities and challenges associated with managing across cultures. The emphasis for the Assignment is on the country of origin for the assignment, so the paper is written from that foreign countrys perspective.

Since Nestle is a Swiss based company, you will write the proposal as if you are physically working in Switzerland creating a training proposal for employees who are Swiss based employees, employees from the U.S and other countries who are working in Switzerland at Nestle.

In your paper add a brief executive summary (no more than 1 page), which will include your training plan, associated costs, and human resources required. In the body of the paper, address the concepts learned and explain if they are applicable or not in the Nestle organization. At the end of your paper, write a couple of paragraphs about what you learned about the Nestle organization as it pertained to the culture in Switzerland and your current perceptions about the Nestle organization.

Use a minimum of 3 – 4 academic sources in your Assignment.

Use APA style and cite your sources.

Criminal Acts

Criminal acts refer to actions leading to violation of laws, which is punishable by the government (USLEGAL, 2019). Misdemeanors are offenses of less aggravated than felonies, and therefore they are punishable by imprisonment and fine. A felony, on the other hand, is a crime of grave (Flight & Pardew, 2018). Felonies are punishable by death or imprisonment of more than one year.

Criminal acts include Robbery, which refers to a theft involving physical harm of a victim or inflicting fear and threat of bodily injury. Murder is defined as an act of killing with intention. Attempted murder can only be proven if the defendant had the intention to commit a crime or the defendant’s action did not result in a crime or the defendant unconcealed from committing the crime.

Euthanasia, which is also known as mercy killing, is a criminal act of putting a person with an incurable disease into a painless death. A manslaughter is an act of killing a person without cruelty. A conspiracy is an act of two people coming together to commit a criminal act. Larceny, which is also stealing, can only be proven if, without reason, the perpetrator took and carried away the assets; the culprit did not own the goods: the offender took the assets intending to hold it permanently. Abuse is the mental or physical harm of a person.  Sexual assault is an act of sexual contact or behavior without the consent of the recipient.

***From the paragraph  provide an example (i.e. create a “story” that applies the concept).
For example, if a student discussed the rules of searching a vehicle trunk, you are to provide an example (i.e. a little story) of a police officer conducting either an illegal or a legal search of a vehicle trunk. This learning process is called “application” and will enhance your critical thinking skills. This forces you to “think”, not just to memorize and regurgitate material, which any circus-trained monkey can do. The goal is to prepare you for the real world, which will expect you to think independently. If you are ready to submit your second post, but there are insufficient initial posts for you to choose one,
