Choose an older person  who you would be interested in writing a portrait of and prepare a 750 word essay demonstrating how birth cohort, gender, race, socioeconomic class, ethnicity, historic events, religion and/or sexual orientation have shaped their life course and had an impact on their lives as older adults. An interview or conversation would certainly be helpful if you choose someone you know but is not required. Do not identify your subject unless he or she a public figure. If you select a public figure, please supply at least two high quality biographical references ( credible sources, not intended for children, not random web or blog sites, well researched and  reasonably objective- not sources that make your subject into either a saint or a monster)

The focus of this assignment is on older adults, so choose someone who is at least 60 years old, or reached that age before she or he died and make sure that you have enough information about their late adulthood to write about it.

(Examples:  A report about a 45 year old  retired major league baseball  player would not work because he is too young. A report about the last years of  former baseball great Yogi Berra would be fine if you emphasized the last years of his long life rather than his playing career. A report about a relative who died at the age of 55 would not match the assignment because she did not live long enough to be an older adult, at least not for very long. A report about a friend or relative who is 70 or 90 years old would  be appropriate).

Be as specific as you can about the social factors and events that have shaped your subject’s life but be aware that many of us  are not  particularly aware of  those influences and not everyone experiences the same period of history the same way.  I would suggest that you do some research to learn about the events and trends that were particularly important in their lives so that you can put their lives in context. For example, if the person you wrote about. is a 90 year old woman who says that she served in the Cadet Nurse Core during World War Two  you would probably want to do a little research to find out what Cadet Core nurses did and perhaps a little bit about women’s involvement in the war effort. Include a paragraph or two of explanation in your report.Try to be as descriptive as you can rather than judgmental. For example, if religion or a strong work ethic has played an important role in their lives, explain why and how in concrete terms, rather than emphasizing your own endorsement or critique of their faith or values.

Write and develop an APA formatted paper (2-3 pages in length) that includes:

1. Introduction to the topic

2. A description of a situation resulting from a non-existent or poorly implemented process in your work environment (past or present).

3. An explanation of how you might be able to become a better leader by improving the process (or processes).

4. States what kinds of risk-taking and experiments might you be able to undertake

5. What the tradeoffs and potential benefits are

6. Describes the planning required to lead the proposed process change (can refer to Kotters/Lewins models).

7. States how will you build commitment within the organization for the proposed change

8. Conclusion

9. References page (At least 6 peer-reviewed article)

Please use the template to write the paper.

I also attached my answer of the discussion question which is related to the paper. Please use the content of the discussion as your reference writing the paper.

Please also include the article that I used for the discussion question to the paper.

For the fifth section of your Term Project you are to write a 3 page paper, APA formatted.  The paper will include an effective Introduction and Conclusion.   It will also include proper headings and titles per APA guidelines.

Section V of your paper will address the following material for learning.

A system thinking perspective looks for certain patterns of structure that recur again and again. Senge refers to these patterns as systems archetypes.  Senge has identified eight system archetypes that occur across a broad spectrum of life, including biology, economics, political science, family therapy and management.  Senge argues that mastering the system archetypes puts an organization on the path of system thinking.

When you think about your company what are 3 of the most common system archetypes that you experience.   Identify each archetype, define it and describe how youve experienced it.  Also, discuss what potential solutions to stop this pattern from reoccurring and what the outcome would be if this archetype no longer existed.

Examine other community healthcare systems in other nations aside from the United States. Do you think the United states should adopt another Healthcare System for their citizens? What type of Healthcare System should we adopt. If yes- Why?  If No-Why  Not?

Unit 2: You will need to submit a public presentation on 9-11 that describes an incident involving a person or persons in some type of crisis situation. 200 word on each question .

Cultural Anthropology Paper Instructions

The Country is Tonga

Since the Tower of Babel, people have been naturally suspicious of others who are different from themselves. Language, in fact, continues to be a critical element of culture. For this assignment, you will choose a geographic cultural group from a selection of offerings. In the preparation of the paper, assume it is to be presented to the Liberty Health Mission Board considering funding a health initiative to the chosen cultural group. The board consists of highly educated health professionals but needs solid background information on the culture before committing funds. You will research the chosen culture and identify culturally related health barriers and risks.

In other words, identify and evaluate culturally determined limitations, beliefs and practices which 1) hinder the group from adapting better health practices or which 2) actually create a risk to the health of the population. Your goal is to help the board understand the culture. The written paper must be 7 pages in length and include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources. All information must be properly cited using current AMA style.

In addition, the board has limited time to evaluate your information and has requested a 1-page bulleted talking paper which must be attached as an appendix to the document. The talking paper will give the board a tool for rapid comparison to other cultural groups under consideration for funding.

In a minimum 250 word paragraph. Discuss in detail at least three popular sources you chose for your essay, what section of the essay you will use them in, and what makes each a good source. The most effective way to organize this is one by one. Finally, discuss whether you decided to include a statistic and why or why not.

The intent of this program is to manage a set of favorite movies. Each movie will have data associated with it:

Title
Year produced
Rating (this can be a simple 1-5 integer) that represents how much the user likes the movie.
Anything else youd like to add to make yours unique (can result in extra credit)
You must allow the customer to do the following actions on the movie list:

List all movies
Add Movie
Delete Movie
Edit Movie
Exit program
The menu prompted to the user should look something like the following. You can also allow the user to input only the first letter of each word, but you need to make it clear whats happening.

COMMAND MENU

(L)ist List all movies
(A)dd Add a movie to the list
(E)dit Edit a movie on the list
(D)elete Delete a movie on the list
(Q)uit Exit the program

I can now as the user enter either the word, or the letter (capitalized and in parentheses). If I enter anything else besided the letter or words on the menu the input is invalid and I have to try again.

For example, my implementation looks like this when I enter l for list movies:

COMMAND MENU

(L)ist – List all movies
(A)dd –  Add a movie
(E)dit – Edit a movie
(D)el –  Delete a movie
(Q)uit – Exit program

Command: l

1.Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) – Rating: 5
2. On the Waterfront (1954) – Rating: 2
3. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) – Rating: 4
Once I enter the main command, I will be prompted through the process of adding/editing/deleting/listing. For example, if I want to edit a movie, Ill be prompted for the number of the movie I want to edit, and then prompted for all the values to enter (similar to adding a move).

For example, here Im editing the second movie:

Command: e
Please input a number between 1 and 3: 2
Movie number 2 named ‘On the Waterfront’ will be changed. Are you sure (y/n)? y
    New Name: The Matrix
    New Year: 1999
    New Rating (number between 1 & 5): 5
Movie number 2 – named ‘The Matrix’ was changed.

Deleting a movie:

Command: d
Please input a number between 1 and 3: 3
Movie number 3 named ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ will be deleted. Are you sure (y/n)? y
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was deleted.

Adding a movie:

Command: a
    Name: Star Wars
    Year: 1977
    Rating (number between 1 & 5): 4
Movie number 3 – named ‘Star Wars’ was added.

I am about to send you out on a scouting trip! What I will require of you at the end of this Module is for you to write a 1,000 – 1,300 word Public Space Essay! This should be fun… or, at least, I hope it’s fun! You will need to find a public space (not your home or a friend’s home) such as a school, park, library, theater, or store and observe what you find there. You will need to go to that public space or post a picture of that public space for me to see (though it will be much easier if you visit the space in person). In order to help you be successful with this field mission, we need to complete these tasks, listed below,

This is a basic discussion post pertaining to The Strange Truth of Fiction. The following basic instructions are below as well as an attached file with readings from textbook/module notes to help aid in the writing of this assignment.

Please respond to the following set of questions.
How would you define perfection in a romantic partner and have you ever observed such perfection?
What constitutes perfection?
Have you ever spotted the 100% perfect man or woman?
How would you relate your ideas to Murakami s story?
How does the storys title make you think of a fairy tale?
What purpose do fairy tales serve?
Why do you think the narrator uses the form of a fairy tale and how does his story differ from fairy tales you have read or heard?
What truth, if any, does this story contain about the purpose of stories?
Explain your answer.
