A synthesis essay that needs to formulate a common theme within the two books given. I’ve already formed a thesis, but feel free to change if need be.

Thesis:
The underlying message within both of these essays renders the moral game our imagination plays in the midst of vulnerability; Therefore, we must elude and harness our foreboding sentiments.

Common Theme:
Monsters can be the responses of tragedy in society, which may induce our minds to fear the unknown.
