Papers should address the following inquiries:
a) Provide a summary of the reading
b) State the readings main argument (s)
c) What sources does the author use to support thesis / argument? d) What are the major questions and / or issues addressed?
e) What are the strengths and weaknesses of the authors study? f) Your thoughts / critiques on the readings

An important aspect of this course is to connect aspects of history to the present; therefore, you will complete four current event exercises. You will write a 500-word paper on a current event and discuss its connection to our class. Topic can include issues of gender, race, class, identity, and so onjust so as you connect the event to history. The current events will use APA citations and be submitted via Safe Assign

Project for grade 8 student. Total of 7 slides in power point. 5 supported slides with strong conclusion plus introductory slide with title and sources slides. Choose one topic of the 3 topics that I sent as attachment and focus on it with introduction will supported details. Add pictures. Look for the rubric to know how to get a full mark project. Quotes and paraphrasing should be properly sourced with 3 or more citations in the proper MLA format.

In Walter Johnson’s book, Soul by Soul, he examines each of the actors in the slave market, buyer, seller, and slave. Although the slaves were the least powerful, as human beings, they could still exert some influence on the outcome of the sales. We call this having agency.
For this assignment, read the book and explain how Slaves influenced the activities in the slave market.

Conduct a research and analyze primary and secondary to use in research paper. At least four sources related to the topic each identified as either primary or secondary. A brief description of the key information found in each source. What kinds of ideas and information I will need to research. And a plan for identifying further sources..

Discussion11. Based upon your careful reading of chapter 21, in what ways did the struggles for independence of African and Asian peoples in the twentieth century parallel that of the new nations in the Americas of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries?  In what ways did they differ?  Your response should discuss at least two different African and/or Asian independence struggles.  As always, be sure to use specific evidence from the readings to support your argument.

Discussion12. Based upon your careful reading of chapter 21 as a whole, and then the primary sources excerpted in the Working with Evidence section at the end of chapter 21, to what extent do the Working with Evidence primary sources display the successes of Maoist communism?  To what extent do they offer insight on its shortcomings?  (You may find the Historians Voices section at the very end of the chapter useful.)

What is the aim of the article?  What systemic mechanism, principle, or rule was hidden or designed in the Navigation Acts?  What is the Neo-Whig argument, and what is the Progressive School argument on American independence?  Why would England limit colonial manufacturing? Whats the logic here?  Do you think the American leaders could have been economically motivated to rebel against the English rule? Give examples

Conduct your own research and find an article/video/website about a drone application that is new (appears to have been developed within the last year). Briefly describe the application and how sensing systems enable the mission to be completed. Evaluate any recent improvements in UAS or sensor systems that were required to make this application possible.
