Directions:

Write a paper (750-1,000 words) in which you present a clearly articulated argument for whether a qualitative or quantitative research methodology is the best approach to answer the potential dissertation research questions and address the problem statement you drafted in a previous course. Include the following in your paper:

A literature-supported discussion identifying the critical attributes of the selected methodology (qualitative or quantitative).
A literature-supported rationale that clearly articulates why the critical attributes of the selected methodology are a best or appropriate fit for the stated problem and research questions. Cite specific examples where a similar methodology was used to answer similar research questions or to address a similar problem statement.
A literature-supported rationale that clearly articulates why the opposing methodology (qualitative or quantitative) is not appropriate for the study.
A concluding statement that clearly affirms the methodological choice (qualitative of quantitative).

You will write a paper explaining your understanding of the model following the outline provided.  This will be a 3-5 page paper not including the cover page or references.

You may use any resources you want but be sure to cite them in the reference section.  I have listed some for your convenience.

Here are some resources you  can use:

Write 3 sentences review of what each website is about and its value by asking:
Are they reputable or fringe?
What are resources do they provide?
Who is the author profile and are they credible?
Is the website up to date and relevant to the topic?
Is the website accurate, such as grammar and written well?
What is the website purpose and objectivity?
What is the structure of the website address?

I would need you to talk in more details on the topic/issue/ I will provide you in the word document.
It should be divided in the following parts:
1)Issues Identified 250 WORDS
details of the issue that have been identified, how the issues relate to the challenges faced and the effects these issues may be having on the organisation.
specific points from the case study should be highlighted.(use citation to the case study)
2)Theoretical Justification (400 words)
Refer to theories and research studies that are relevant to the issue identified.
Analyse theory and research for each of the issues identified, there should be a minimum of three subsections.
To structure the justification refer to following questions:
Can the research/theory help to explain the current situation the organisation is facing?
Can the research/theory help to explain how the issue may be impacting organizational performance?
Can the research/theory help to explain how the issue may be resolved?
Can the research/theory help to explain how addressing the issue may improve organizational performance?
Research should include at least last 5 years.
mini literature review. (PROVIDED IN THE WORD DOCUMENT, needs to be more developed)
3) Recommendations for Improvement (approx. 200 words)
Make specific recommendations to the organisation on how to resolve the issue. Must be logically and clearly related to previous analysis of the case and the research/theories identified.
Should highlight the rationale for recommendations and include resources or data (or reference to resources/ data).(PROVIDED IN THE WORD DOCUMENT, needs to be more developed)

Observe an instance where conflict is present, one in which you are not personally involved. (You will need to be a bit of a covert operator to accomplish this.) Answer all of the following:

Describe the conflict scene.
Who was involved in the conflict? What was the relationship between the participants prior to the conflict? Did it appear as if the relationship between the participants had any impact on how either person responded to the conflict?
When and where did it take place? Was it formal or informal? Planned or unplanned? What impact did the location and time have on the outcome?
What transpired? (Be specific.)
What was the surface problem?
Many times when we face conflict, there is a surface-level problem and an underlying problem. The surface-level problem acts only as a symptom of the real problem. Consider both.
What was the surface problem?
What was the underlying problem, or the real problem? If this is unclear, what might you speculate the real problem to be?
There are many conflict management strategies that can be employed when dealing with conflict. Consider which were present in this conflict.
Which conflict management strategies were employed by each of the participants? Did the conflict management strategies change during the course of the conversation? How do you know?
What was the outcome? Was there a winner? A loser? Did there appear to be an impact on the relationship? If so, what was that impact?
Looking back, describe at least two variables that could be changed in this scene to alter the outcome.
Part 2 Reflection of Analysis: Much of the learning in this course requires you to draw conclusions about your experiences and observations based on the concepts we have read about and discussed. For the reflection, address the following:

List two specific things you learned about conflict as a result of this exercise.

This week, you will conduct a MeSH term search and create a Coding Sheet Summary table.

This term search is for your final projecta theoretical research studyand should be based on the same topic as the research question you determined during week 1. A coding sheet includes the key components of published research found in a research review. Coding sheet information is often in a table format allowing the researcher to quickly compare findings from multiple articles.
Conduct a MeSH term search using keywords from Assignment 1 that you used to create your research question.
Once you have completed a MeSH term search, you will get a list of published articles. Review them to find four that you will use for your final project.
Save the full text from all four articles and read them carefully. Make notes on key points.
Create a Coding Sheet Summary table using information from the four published articles that you chose.
Include your research question in the assignment so it is clear why the four articles were chosen for review.
Your paper should document in detail each step listed above. All elements listed on the example coding sheet (below) are required for each of the four articles you review.

”My topic question is Why caffeine is added to some drugs? ”

Annotated Bibliography
For this assignment read your selected articles and write an annotated bibliography for the 2-5 most pertinent articles on your chosen topic (picot question is the topic). The annotated bibliography looks at each research article individually and addresses the following:

Step one: List the first reference using correct APA formatting. Step two: summarize the article in one paragraph using APA guidelines (citing required). Step three: in another paragraph note why you have chosen to include this article and what information it provides related to your PICO(T) topic. Follow these three steps for all articles.

Use Times New Roman 12-point font, double space, and assure 1 margins.  Include a running head (Running head) with your last name and appropriate assignment name (ex. BURGERMEISTER_BIBLIOGRAPHY) as well as page numbers.
Since the reference for each article will be stated prior to each article summary no reference section is required.

teacher advised that the articles must have More epidemiology about CHF is needed since that is your area of interest. For example what is the rate of CHF in the U.S.? Does this differ according to socioeconomic factors? How may CHF patients use telehealth currently? The answers to these questions will greatly inform your PICOT topic.

In hospitalized adults with congestive heart failure, how effective is telehealth education compared to non-telehealth education in decreasing readmissions?

Letter Access and Information:

UAB is home to original handwritten letters from Florence Nightingale.  These letters were a gift to UAB’s Reynolds Historical Library.  Through a generous gift from alumna Barrett Brock MacKay, an interactive exhibit that is open to the public showcases UAB’s Nightingale Letter collection.  You can read more about the history of UAB’s letters and the School of Nursing’s Nightingale exhibit by clicking below on “Barrett Brock MacKay Florence Nightingale Exhibit at the UAB School of Nursing”.

Nightigale’s letters teach us about nursing leadership and lessons for us today.  In this course, we will study the leadership theories and concepts.  We will also extend these concepts to nursing and in particular the advanced nursing practice roles.
