This week, we will look again at politics. There is a video in my Blackboard site, “Primary Colors.” It is based on a book published by “Anonymous,” (later found to be by a journalist covering the 1992 campaign) and is a fictional (?) look at Bill Clinton’s first run for president in 1992. I think John Travolta does a great job as Clinton, and Emma Thompson as Hilary is superb, and the supporting cast is also captivating. It is a little heavy-handed about Clinton’s supposed sex scandals, and stretches the truth quite a bit, and some of the characters are not based on people in his campaign (or the opposition’s).

Some questions to consider in this discussion are: how does the Stanton campaign manipulate the media? What ethical dilemma strikes you as most damaging for Stanton? And the big one – does the end justify the means? Libby doesn’t think so, obviously.

The paper must be at least 2500 words, excluding the title page, abstract page, and reference page, and must adhere to the APA sixth edition writing format. Please reference the APA Guide link under Resources. If your paper does not comply with this format you will lose points.
Please cite at least five scholarly references for your paper with no more than two from an internet source. Please be aware that websites such as Wikipedia are not scholarly sources. Access the Universitys online library resources to find scholarly journal articles, etc. Proquest and EBSCO may be helpful, but remember to limit your search to scholarly journal articles. Please remember to review the information available for locating and citing proper sources in your syllabus. Additional grading criteria will include clarity of presentation, quality of content, mastery of content, care and attention to detail, organization, originality of presentation, and the value and interest of the presentation, as well as proper grammar and punctuation. The research paper also needs to incorporate at some place in the paper a discussion of the Saint Leo Core Value of community as it relates to the topic.
The assignment must be your original work. You are required to use no more than 15% of others quoted work when completing any assignments within this course of study. Your research paper must therefore be 85% original. No previously submitted papers, articles, reports or project, in whole or in part, to any university or college will be accepted.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was proclaimed by the General Assembly of the UN on December 10th 1948, exhibits that people from different cultures can be in agreement on a set of “universal rules”.

As we continue to face this pandemic, let’s look at the ethics of those making decisions in the United States at a state level vs the federal level.

State governments are making major decisions still to keep people at home and closing businesses down. Looking at this from a multiplicity perspective- the numbers:

According to the CDC, the “at least 38 million flu illnesses, 390,000 hospitalizations and 23,000 deaths from flu.” (Link: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/index.htm )

and Compare that to the Corona virus: 26,959 cases in the US with 349 deaths. (Link:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/)

Additional perspective – there’s a medicine for this – Japanese medication. Much like the flu, there’s a medication for this.

When looking at the moral quality of leadership – explore this at the New York state’s level vs the federal level.  We have some fascinating perspectives to critically explore.  Apply critical thought using this week’s course topics and scientific data to compare.

For example, for the federal side, when was the budget cut for the CDC and how does it impact the current capabilities of the CDC? Are the current decisions of the various state/federal government’s decisions necessary and ethical?

Then Give 2 examples on what you can do in the current COVID-19 situation to LEAD ethically? (1 CAN BE STATE LEVEL, FEDERAL AND LOCAL Level)

please use APA format for the essay. The essay should be bout how the fast food industry is bad for our health and how it is making America the fatest country.

Please discuss obesity, diabetes and other major health concerns related to fast food

Please also talk about the quality of the ingredients and how Mcdonalds gets its ingredients usually frozen and how livestock is treated before it reaches stores.
