Formal Papers: you will write four of them. This writing includes drafts as well as final, rewritten, revised and polished versions.
All drafts must be typed, double-spaced, with one-inch margins at the top, bottom and sides and with your name, date, and assignment number in the upper left-hand corner of the paper. All papers must have a title, too. Final drafts turned in must have clearly marked earlier drafts stapled behind it.
Your project must be submitted as a Word document (.docx, .doc). Your project will be individually graded by your instructor and therefore will take up to a few weeks to grade.

Once youve selected the 10 artists you would like to focus on, youll need to research answers to the following seven questions or question groups:
Whats the year of the artists birth (and, where applicable, death)?
Where was the artist born? Where did he or she create the majority of his or her work (if at a different location than this place of birth)?
What medium did the artist use? Did he or she use more than one main medium?
Which art movement did the artist contribute to? If he or she contributed to more than one movement, where did this artist make the greatest impact?
What are some of the artists most famous works of art? Choose one of these works. In what ways is the piece characteristic of the movement specified above? (Include an image of the chosen piece.)
What challenges, if any, did the artist face that may have affected his or her work? What was happening in the world at that time that influenced the artists work?
Whats innovative about the artists work for that time period?
You’ll then write an APA-formatted essay that contains a title page, a brief introduction and conclusion, in-text citations supporting your research, and a reference list. Answer each question using complete sentences. The essay should be a minimum of 1,200 words. However, most students finish the project in about 2,000 words.
Answer the questions in essay format; do not answer them in list format.
Youll need to find at least one source for each artist from the internet, a library, or elsewhere. Be sure to use reputable sources when searching for information on your selected artists.

As you read and research for this project, gather your sources information. Bookmark and save all URLs.
List all sources cited in your essay (including images). Begin your list on a new page after your conclusion paragraph. List sources alphabetically by authors last name (or title if author is unknown). Capitalize the first word of the title plus all major words except articles and prepositions.
Titles of books and websites are in italics while articles, postings, or smaller works are set in quotation marks. Youll need to list your course textbook, any other texts that you used, pieces of art you referenced, and websites you consulted. Below are four basic formats to work from:

800 words long, five paragraphs. The first paragraph will include the authors name, name of story, and a brief synopsis of the story in which only the main points are covered. Identify the point of view the author uses in the story. The last sentence of the first paragraph will be your essays central idea. Your central idea will focus on three different ways that T.C. Boyle uses point of you to make a point in his story Greasy Lake. Paragraphs three, four, and five will each present a different effective aspect of the point of view T.C. Boyle chose to tell his story. Use quotations and paraphrasing in each paragraph. Paragraph five will provide a conclusion, re-emphasizing and confirming your central idea.
For this discussion, students will explore legislation related to the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) role. In addition, you will explore current legislative action regarding the RN/LPN role (multi-state licensure) with the expectation that should APRN compact licensure become a reality, the benefits would be comparable.

The presentation of the post should demonstrate a clear and concise writing style appropriate to graduate-level work, utilizing appropriate terminology.
Peer-reviewed references (meaning articles published in scholarly journals) should be your primary support in all posts and cited according to APA formatting guidelines.

Review the grading rubric for this assignment. Overall, points are awarded based on the quality of the posts and the degree to which the submissions contribute to class discussion. Postings should reflect application of the assigned lesson materials. Peer-reviewed references and evidence (results of formal inquiry published in the literature) are your primary types of support and are necessary to develop posts as expected.
1. Describe HOW and WHY barring APRNs from full practice authority affects

o Go to your state board of nursing site and see what pending legislation is discussed there. You may begin by doing a web search for the name of your state and “current nursing legislation.”
