Digital Footprint Investigation

Write a short essay that is at least one full page (no more than one and a half page) using Microsoft Word about your digital footprint. Instructions are located under the writing requirements in this tutorial. Do not use Google Docs.

Websites that can be used to search your footprint:

Use websites such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other public technology you may use.

Select at least three of the media technologies (not just Twitter or Google)
Note: even if you are not a social media user, you may still find information elsewhere about yourself.

Boolean search: Use quotations around your name in the search bar to narrow your results.
Search example:
Google:  Type “NAME” in the search bar and maybe another search for your digital footprint. See what information appears (this is your digital footprint)

Bing: Type “NAME” in the search bar and maybe another search for your digital footprint. See what information appears (this is your digital footprint)

Twitter: Type “NAME” in the search bar  and/or Google to find information about yourself on Twitter. Example in Google: your name Twitter search.

Each paragraph should only consist of three-five well-written sentences. Avoid run-on paragraphs and sentences. The first sentence of each paragraph should be indented one-half inch.
You must use appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. No abbreviations or “text” language.

does the story end? Feature stories dont have to move chronologically. They dont have to begin when an event occurs. The story itself can begin as a flashback, a recreation of a scene. Or it can begin in the present day, after a character has gone through what theyve gone through, but the rest of the story re-tells how they got to the present.
