A corporation notices that suddenly turnover in the human resource department has been extremely high. This corporations prides itself on having a dedicated and committed workforce, so this high turnover in one department is highly troubling for this company. Normally the human resource department investigates when there is a high turnover rate in a department. But since the human resource department is now the department with the high turnover rate, the CEO decides that an outside consultant should be hired to investigate the high turnover rate and propose solutions. An organization hires an Appreciative Inquiry consultant to help the company get back on track and improve the performance of its product design team. The consultant starts by asking members of the team how they would like the team to perform and what their ideal vision of the team would be. The consultant collects all of this input and designs a detailed plan regarding how to achieve this ideal future that the team dreams about. However, once this detailed plan is presented to the team they are all shocked that the consultant came up with such an unrealistic plan. Team members say that the expenses involved in this plan are far beyond their budget, and they would also need to hire many new team members in order to achieve this plan in a realistic time frame. They all agree it would be great if they had the time and money to implement this plan, but they also are in consensus that this plan presented by the consultant is highly unrealistic. What do you think went wrong? What steps do you think the Appreciative Inquiry consultant could have taken to make the consulting process go better? Refer to the specific 5 Ds of Appreciative Inquiry in your answer.

Propose a solution to a geopolitical injustice.  The solution can take one side of the issue or provide a compromise.  This paper should have three main parts:

Inherency: Demonstrate the need for a comprehensive reform. Explain the various problems that are directly related to the geopolitical injustice to establish that the status quo is a problem that merits addressing.
Plan: Present the solution you are proposing in detail. You will need to account for issues of Actor (who should take action), Mandates (what the actor should do), Funding (how much will the plan cost and how the actor will pay for it) and Enforcement (how the actor will guarantee the mandates will actually happen).
Advantages: Treated as main points, explain the benefits of your proposed plan. A good structure would be to describe the status quo before the plan, explain how the plan would improve the status quo, and then enumerate and detail the good consequences of the plan.
The purpose of the Research Paper is to develop an argument on your topic and to provide persuasive support for your thesis using strong reasons and clear evidence through specific examples. Sources examined and critiqued in the Annotated Bibliography should be incorporated into your paper as you develop your formal, well-written, persuasive argument. The Research Paper should follow formal grammatical conventions and style. 2000 words, APA format.

A research paper is an original argument where the student poses a research question, gathers materials (designing interview questions, observing and taking notes, designing questionnaires, critical analysis of readings and sources), focuses the research, shapes the argument, and frames the materials in relation to the larger themes developed in the course.

Complete the questions shown in the PDF, showing work you had to complete. The deadline can be slightly adjusted if needed, but not by much. The work should be on a academic level of a high school junior. A total of 24 questions and a mini-lab which requires a pencil, calculator, and highlighter. The assignment shouldn’t take more than a hour – probably less! The price can be slightly adjusted if necessary.

This provides the research foundation for the research paper. The sources in your papers plus some more make up the Annotated Bibliography. The purpose of the Annotated Bibliography is to allow you to read carefully and critically, rather than simply to collect information about your topic. This assignment is an instrument to help formulate a strong argument based on a critique of each of your sources. Each annotation should include in one paragraph:

a summary,
an evaluation of the text,
a reflection on its usefulness to your own research.
Your annotated bibliography should include a minimum of ten sources. Credible sources should be drawn from but not limited to: books, peer reviewed journals, periodicals, and newspaper articles.

An Annotated Bibliography is a list of sources with annotations, listed in alphabetical order. An annotation is a one or two paragraph summary and/or analysis of a source. This type of bibliography will help guide the students research and prepare them for the research essay with a critical evaluation of the sources.

Recommended length: 4 -5pages, double-spaced in 12pt font. APA format.
