Discussion: Developing a Research Question
Regardless of your field, research questions are foundational to conducting a study. Clear, relevant research questions not only provide focus to a study, they also support the overall goal of researchto contribute knowledge and understanding of problems to a field of study. As a leader in public administration, public policy, or nonprofit management, it is essential to be able to develop research questions that support both your personal interests and help address problems within your field. For this Discussion, you develop a research question for your Capstone Project and analyze the viability of your research question.

By Day 3
Post by Day 3 a one-sentence research question that addresses the problem or issue you selected for your Capstone Project. Then, explain why you think the question is a viable research question for the scope of this course. Finally, describe any challenges you encountered when conceptualizing problems or issues as research questions.

Part 2: Focus question writing assignment must be atleast 400 words (min 200 words per a question). Part 3: Discussion post responses must be atleast 300 words (min 150 words per a question). I will upload a pdf of the chapter and the questions for you to respond to as soon as my professor releases them on Monday, which you will use for the first 2 parts. You should use the chapter as the primary source but you can also use an outside source as long as it is a credible, scholarly source and is cited correctly. You may NOT use Wikipedia as a source. Then, I will upload the discussion posts for you to respond to as soon as they are available to me (after I submit my initial discussion post: part 1 of this assignment). So if you can get that one part to me a little before the due date, to ensure that you have enough time to do the discussion responses, that would be great. Thank you.
