Choose any analysis tool used by police to visually illustrate crime trends (crime maps, hotspots, predictive data).  Summarize what data the tool provides.  Discuss the value of such a tool and provide an example of how the visual data is useful for decision makers.  You can include strategies that could be utilized to direct resources as an example of data driven response in your original post or replies.  What are some ways crime analysis can be integrated into the patrol function?  Include your understanding of real time or actionable intelligence in your answer.

COVID-19 and the Cytokine Storm: Recent evidence suggests that the reason Covid-19 can be so aggressive and potentially deadly in many patients is because it triggers an inflammatory cytokine-storm. Read through the articles Ive cited below and summarize their basic findings. Please explain what cytokines are and how theyre linked to our basic immune system response. How do researchers believe COVID-19 influences the bodys production of cytokines, and what detrimental effects do they unleash in a patients body? In short, I would like you to review this topic (including other sources) and summarize this current area of research in your own words. I would also ask that you walk through potential treatment strategies to minimize the effects of this potential cytokine storm that would likely decrease the symptoms and severity of this disease. Please cite all your sources including the two articles below using the same
style.
